I think to this date the only interview hes actually done Audio only of course was some random radio/interview kidna thing not on live I don't think a small time kinda radio interview I think it was maybe 2 years ago or so, to this date think that's the only one. Surprisingly he sounds a bit of a like stereotypical surfer-ish 90's guy kinda voice/talking style haha, hes a true legit all time great that's a fact.
I'm glad to think Buckethead's exactly where he wants to be, no contracts, pressure, or corporate crap, whether he's jams alone or a great drummer is a phone call away, he's probably his happiest, I knew P Sticks is his Bok Bok, fun vid, Woo !
Dude! This so sick, it’s so cool Bryan is willing to devote his time to answer fan questions. This was so worth the wait and made my crappy online school week even better thanks natter!
Totally my pleasure, friend A lot more cool stories to come this week, so hopefully that'll make your school week more bearable haha thank you, friend. Woo!!
Thank you so much for getting this together. Have been looking forward to this for a while! Can’t wait to hear more. Thank you again for all you do for Buckethead fans!
Congratulations for the interview. Phenomenal drummer, I wish this guy worked more often with Buckethead in the music he releases with the pikes and all that since although Buckethead sounds great on itself, the overall feeling of the tracks improves so much with a real drummer like Brain behind the kit. And I have no doubts that amongst all the musicians that toured or recorded with Buckethead, Brain is the most suitable artistically to his craft.
Yeah for live shows to he can pull it off just fine I believe 4 of the 6 shows I saw Buckethead live at he played entirely by himself with just select backing tracks when needed for drums/effects for like 2+ hours straight, and those shows were still beyond amazing, but its definitely better when he has a live drummer with him, got to see one of the live shows with Brain here to which was pretty lucky/fortunate of me to see, cause yeah most of the shows I did get to go to was either 3 or 4 out of the 6 times were pretty much just him alone on stage-which again still beyond amazing and that's totally fine he is literally a one man show/full concert all in itself, but always gonna be better when he at least has a drummer with him live as well for sure.
Insightful. Thanks for this. I think the biggest thing that came from this is that Buckethead seems to be pleased that he does what he does, releases his Pikes and that he is happy to be where he is. I have to admit, he does seem to be more comfortable in his shoes these days. I can't explain why I feel that but I do. And that makes me happy as it seems to make him happy. Glorious!!
Big B is a gentle giant who just wants to make music and entertain fans.Where else can you get great music, num chucks acrobatics-and robot dancing rubber chickens, and free gifts?
It is really impressive Buckethead still never detected his appearance by fans or just people around in our phone/cameras era. It means how really Buckethead is reclusive
Also, I was at the LA show in 2017 at The Novo/Nokia with friends. It was a great show. Went with two first-timers and they loved the concert. 🐓🎸🐓🎸🐓 Keep spreading the love! 👍🤘 Woo!!
This was great. Got some more insight, which confirms my belief that Buckethead is a sensitive, childlike, caring, honest man. I hope to see him one day. Godda hurry though, I'm 74 years old. running out of time.
Im lucky I got to see Him play 5 times between 2004-2008, guys a clear all time great with or without the gimmick though its also only helped his fan base and also with his own confidence to play live on stage at least initially, but hes an all time great purely on his merits and skill and work rate alone. He has to be the record holder as far as just number of released content goes the past 15+ years, and while sure hes gonna have his filler not exactly the most "musical" albums/songs here and there the fact is he has countless dozens upon dozens upon dozens of albums which either have a few or many many good/great/amazing songs on them and its pretty unprecedented in modern times really.Very special elite player for sure, and his small inner circle of friends who he also plays with are a solid foundation when he does play shows with them as well including Brain here who I believe was at 2 of the 5 shows I went to as well, but even shows on nights when he plays a full show/set just by himself and he alone he still almost always pulls it off, only one show out of the 5 or mighta even been 6 cause also saw him with Claypool for the Bucket of Bernie Brains tour which was literally a once in a lifetime rare opportunity because that was a amazing one off band/project pretty much with limited touring as well, but only one time one of his solo shows was his performance a bit below his usual standard, coulda been fatigue coulda just been an off night, coulda been a bit tipsy who knows haha but even then he was incredible, and that was him on a like 6 out of 10 kinda night, and at his best when I saw him he was a 9.5 or even 10 out of 10 even when playing only all by his self which he always does for a minimum of 2 hours pretty much straight through set which is crazy those were bloody amazing nothing else like it.Unless I one day am also fortunate enough to see Paul Gilbert Live which God willing would be awesome, unless that happens someday Buckethead is easily the most technical highly vastly ridiculously skilled/technical/fastest/efficient/experimental and just plain greatest not just Guitar player but arguably Musician I have ever seen live, only person I saw that could rival him in just pure technique and skill and musicianship would be maybe like Victor Wooten who I also fortunately got to see but I mean that's the kinda level and tier group hes on elite skill/wise. God given talent- genetics can sometimes help in his case with crazy ass long spider hands haha- and just countless thousands upon thousands upon thousands upon thousands on top of thousands of practice hours+ having very few if any serious vices = able to do what Buckethead has on his instrument over the past nearly 3 decades now.
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Love getting a taste of the lives they live on tour, aside from what we see at their concerts. Really great video Natter! Thanks! Cheers! 👍🐓🎸🐓🎸🐓🤘
Bucket seems like the mall type, being that mall cruising would've been the big thing when he was a teenager. I'm only about 10 or 11 years younger than B and we used to go allll the time in the 90s. That's when the mall was packed every weekend. I'd love to go mall, cruising and people watching with B & Brain. B honestly seems like the kind of person I'd be friends with in real life.

You guys realize he’s a human. Right? Don’t get me wrong of course seeing a random dude in a kfc bucket and white mask here and there intrigued me which led to me only then discovering his music. But as much as fans are super weird about his mask i’m much more interested in the man behind it. Because I have stage fright too and he found one of the best solutions for his. But still at the end of the day a human named Brian Patrick Carroll is the one who wrote the music we love and character we love. Maybe if more of us showed him that he’d not feel so shy. To me, I could meet him face to face for the first time, and him legit walk over to the bucket and mask and play and I’d see Buckethead regardless of just having met Brian. In weird way he is both.
Yes! Anyone who doesn't have all the Pikes is crazy. $215 offer right now is like giving nothing and receiving gold (obviously people in much poorer countries doesn't count but those who aren't, whaddya waiting for!). Woo!!
I wanted to know what buckethead does to make his hair so beautiful, the curls look so pretty :] what conditioner are you using buck? But then I thought that’s kinda weird to ask :[

3:11 now we know that just go to the mall and try your luck finding the bucke (just try to observe a tall, hairy guy) if you have one more interview you could ask about the possibility of bucke coming to Brazil to play ??
I think it would be the same deal as Europe, if they have someone who can book a bunch of festivals then its a possibility, especially if it was Rock in Rio.
I saw Buckethead live twice but not with brain. I'd love to see them together because I want live drums. Not computerized ones. And brain is a very talented drummer. Buckethead improvises better with live drumming. It's a shame he doesn't collab more on the pike series with brain.
@@NatterNet Hah haa! That makes sense, I mean Herbie would have Bucket kick his enemies and not just once or twice either, he really is the psychoest psycho! Woo!!
Very interesting, i didnt see the post about asking for questions, would love to hear his answer about if buckethead ever films his recording of the pikes.
I dont see BH touring the UK or outside the US unfortunately. Logistics and cost and we know BH is a private person, cant see him getting around airport security with face masks on. If i had the money I would travel to the US to see him in his own country. I would love to be a fly on the wall and see how BH goes about recording a song in the studio and how he uses music software DAWs for the rhythm and lead guitar parts also bass and drums and see how he pieces it all together.
Its sad how wasted Bucket and brain were in GNR. BH especially, all those leaks from a year ago BHs stuff on it was great. Its too bad we will never get to officially hear them from axl vocals. A lot of that stuff would have been killer like Zodiac, prom violence, Curly Shuffle etc.
Buckethead is the greatest guitar player ever. I've seen him twice without a band and he is fantastic. That being said, I will not go see him again without a band. I'd like to see them steal Josh Kiszka for an album (or two) and play some of the classics.

This is great stuff thanks! By the way does Bucket kick Herbie repeatedly in 1:30 (hah haa)? Woo!!
Haha I think that was some plastic enemy of Herbie...1 kick is enough but 5 or 6, c'mon Bucket, slight overkill haha Woo!!
@@NatterNet Hah haa! That makes sense, I mean Herbie would have Bucket kick his enemies and not just once or twice either, he really is the psychoest psycho! Woo!!
Wish I'd thought of a question in time, I would ask if any memories from C2B3 stand out
We actually covered that one and its coming up in the next few days. Woo!!
@@NatterNet hell yeah!
Very interesting, i didnt see the post about asking for questions, would love to hear his answer about if buckethead ever films his recording of the pikes.
Ah man, gotta turn on those community posts or follow us on Fb. Might've been a good one to ask. Woo!!
How come 1:12 is censored?
Private info which I'm not sure Bucket would want out there, so I censored it in case.
@@NatterNet Makes sense. Thank you for the video!
Boyfriend?
@@beaviscrews2650 I highly doubt it
@@beaviscrews2650 i think he might be his half brother
Dam sorry to find out some of this information. No wonder , I guess in order to relate, you’d need to walk in another man’s shoes to understand.
Why’d you bleep out who P Sticks is???? 😭😭
Privacy :]
What ☝️ said haha He's Buckethead's bok bok. Woo!!
His Brother? His Boyfriend? His Bitch?
Its sad how wasted Bucket and brain were in GNR. BH especially, all those leaks from a year ago BHs stuff on it was great. Its too bad we will never get to officially hear them from axl vocals. A lot of that stuff would have been killer like Zodiac, prom violence, Curly Shuffle etc.
turkey pls
P Sticks = preemptive COVID-19 .........it seems precautionary measures are not an issue for mere mortals ....86 2020
I wonder how good BH is at NBA2k
If he's playing as Jordan, he's savage! Woo!!
Buckethead is the greatest guitar player ever. I've seen him twice without a band and he is fantastic. That being said, I will not go see him again without a band. I'd like to see them steal Josh Kiszka for an album (or two) and play some of the classics.
We all know what the censored word was. 😊
Pretty sure they don't, that's why I censored it. Woo!!
@@NatterNet ok 😔
Has he ever had a girlfriend ?
Yes, for over 20 years
@@NatterNet who is buckets girl friend?
was Big D, not anymore.
Damn.. Costing you too much to not to come to play for us in Europe... is hard to hear. I understand, but... damn..
