- Lets play Haunted House by Kmart! Its pretty awesome for a game made by a clothing store. Not that hard, but adventurous and fun! :D Its made by flash just in case you didnt know.

I found this on a website from the creator: This game was created by a team of four french canadians in Montreal in 2006, I was one of them. We were in our late twenties and had much fun making this game. My friend did all the graphics, while another guy worked on the code. So it was mostly the work of two people. My friend also happened to be a punk music fan, and If you look closely, you'll notice GG Allin's portrait hanged on some of the walls, we found this really funny at the time.
We then worked on at least two other games, one called "Snowball fight", and the other one "Toy Factory", both on the Sears web site I think. If anyone can find those I'd be happy.
rerelease it ill give you all my life savings just to play this again

Holy crap!! This game randomly popped in my head many times over the course of the past like, 15 years or so.
I only played it a few times and then forgot what it was called. In my mind, I remember it being the spooky game from the stores.
I could've sworn it was JC Penny, but I guess it was K-Mart after all. hearing the music, seeing the weird hands come out of the floor, the big floaty monster and the hamburger skeleton. Man, nostalgia overload! I can't believe I finally found this, thank you so, *so* much for uploading this. :)

I was 6 years old, whenever we were waiting for bus to arrive the teachers took us to this small library full of books, donald duck and scooby doo comics and few PC stations. Everyday me and my buddy rushed to the best spots near the window and donald duck section. We would launch a website with flash games and look for new games, I found this game and I remember playing it everyday for a week straight because of how I loved it.
That was 14 years ago, one year before my parents divorced and I've moved schools. Damn, those were the good ol' days :)

@@dino_704 yeah... i don't think it's normal for someone to be playing such a short and simple game everyday for a week straight, not even a child. i've been obsessed with certain games as a child but never that obsessed.
Doesn't have to be the holidays to enjoy this classic.
this game feels like magic because of nostalgia, there was no fucking way that i could complete it when i was younger and i never cared lol i just completed it for the first time :')

haha love the comments here. I am actually here for inspiration. I want to create a game sort of along the same lines as this. I want to add more sneaking mechanics than this though. Hoping to make some sort of hybrid using the MGS style sneaking mechanics while also keeping it like this; a haunted house that you are trying to escape from. I was hoping to keep the graphics sort of similar to this style too. It's sort of interesting, I never played this game, nor have I ever seen it but what I envisioned is quite similar in style to this. Good FInd!

I remember a game that is excatly like this game but the graphic is different, it is more colorful and much brighter, there were skeletons and ghosts. You had to escape the house. I spend hours and still can't find it. Does anyone else remember such a game?
