Here is a build of a medieval castle using the "People of the Dragon"-DLC and the new Aesir-building set from the ingame store. It's a large base and very suitable for large clans. It also provides enough space for crafting stations and decoration.

4:48 that trick where you attach wall pieces to the side of foundation pieces, is this a PC only thing or can you do that on consoles too?

He can do that because of the mod he is using.
However if you use ceilings on pillars, instead of foundations, you should be able to recreate the look.
