I would suggest to investigate the backgrounds of those in military chopper as well like who they are in and out of their uniform. I pray for healing and comfort to all their families who lost their loved ones.

Why on earth was a Military Helicopter conducting a training flight in such a high traffic civilian air space ? Is the ATC adequately manned in our nation’s capital? Imagine the heart break and grief that the families of these unfortunate 67 lost souls have to bear for the rest of their lives. Will changes be made to prevent such an accident in the future? How much responsibility is the Military willing to bear?

The airlines refuse to allow less flight because they will lose money over fewer flights. There have been multiple reports on the short staffing of flight operators. Now, it will be every organization involved in flight operations pointing fingers at each other.
