You titled this video "gambit cameo scenes" then showed a bunch of interviews and talked through most of it. Do you see the problem here? Thumbs down for being misleading man. If the title was "Channing Tatum's gambit interviews" we could maybe be freinds but when you say you've got a square and present a circle it just makes me wonder what else you've misrepresented. Tatum crushed it as Gambit. The thicker accent was a nice touch. His attitude, and his fight scene. Chefs kiss. I want to see more of him. He will only get better just like Hugh Jackman.

@@VengefulJarl his accent IS thicker and harder to understand, and even Deadpool pokes fun at it, BUT Tony Stark also poked fun at Thor’s “drapes” once upon a time. He definitely looks the part, has the attitude, his fighting moves are so awesome, and some of his lines are pretty funny though hard to understand.

The very first time, I’m like you, I couldn’t understand what he was saying, sounded like he had shit in his mouth, so once I watched the movie again and payed real closer attention to what he was saying, I heard and understood him so much better the second, actually I understood everything he said.

He started off doing a bunch of drawl with the “southern gentleman” accent, then he sounded Hispanic, then he finally balanced it out. As a Cajun he gets my stamp of approval.

When you see or hear about Creole, that is the opposite end of the spectrum. Creoles are Black or Mixed Race while Cajuns are White.
Dying for there to be more of Channing Tatum as Gambit!! This character absolutely blew me away, and now I am obsessed with the character.

I screamed with excitement when he appeared on screen. I was like “FINALLY!!” I love how they brought back characters and also introduced Gambit from the “void” or the place where the characters that were thrown out or shelved, in this movie. This was perfectly done! It may not have been his movie, but Gambit sure was badass in it! Channing was spectacular! Hope marvel gets the ball rolling for this character and the rest that were brought back, cause this was just beautiful to watch

I seen it today before work. I grew on 90s X-Men cartoon. Gambit was the coolest part!

gambit has been my favorite xmen since i was a kid and seeing him appear in the full comic outfit made me genuinely cry in the cinema
I feel vindicated cause I was totally on board for Channing Tatum as Gambit but kept hearing all the negative feedback from fans saying he’s not fit for the character. Luckily Ryan Reynolds let Channing cook and he crushed it.
It’s insanely awesome when you realize Gambit’s dialogue in the viral moments of the film alludes to Tatum’s excitement of showing us his Gambit. Makes me cry ngl. The heartbreak was avenged and I hope Tatum reprises his role as Gambit again.

I'm kind of disappointed people are so divisive over Tatum's Gambit. I thought he was fantastic, but I've seen comments like "thank god the Gambit movie was canned". They leaned in hard on the accent but that's just so that Deadpool can make a joke out of it. The only thing I thought was missing were the eyes with black sclera and red pupil.
It's just too bad that the X-Men MCU reboot doesn't seem like it'll be coming anytime soon so they'll probably have to replace him with a younger actor by then. Poor dude has been wanting to play Gambit since his mid-30s but he'll probably be around 50 by the time it happens (though he looks damn good for a 44yo).
I think it was great. The little nit picky things are just that, little. They could actually find any real flaws in Tatum's performance. It brought me back to the 80s.

I love Gambit. My favorite superhero character by far. Happy that CT finally got to play him and his longstanding enthusiasm was rewarded, I actually gasped when he came on screen because I was expecting it 0% ... but I can't say I'd be excited for a feature movie of exactly how we was portrayed in Deadpool. I've been waiting a LONG TIME to see Channing Tatum to play Gambit in the movies. The stand alone movie has been a rumor for nearly a decade. They probably did this cameo as a measuring stick to see if it would be embraced, I watched the movie I was flipping out in a good way seeing him as Gambit and he was great. MCU/Disney should reconsider a Gambit and/or ONE LAST X-MEN w/ Wolverine, Gambit, Cyclops, Magneto, Prof X, Jean Grey, Rogue and Jubilee.

@@peppocket7683yes because his eyes are part of his character and specific look. The same way Rogue has a white streak in her hair, the same way storm has white hair and blue eyes.
His eyes are also part of his back story - historically his eyes were one of the reasons he was abandoned as a baby and why he was recognised by the Thieves guild. His eyes are linked to a charm power, too.

THIS is why I have the UTMOST RESPECT for Ryan Reynolds. He not only remembers people he worked with previously, but also the co-starring actors his co-stars worked with as well. PLUS actors who were supposed to star in or as a specific character or have in the past. Channing Tatum as Gambit for example. He said countless times he has wanted to do the Gambit movie. Sadly never happened. Ryan Reynolds gave him a chance to at least be Gambit for a brief time on screen and THAT is really special! He also brought Wesley Snipes back as Blade. Who I thought was the PERFECT Blade! The fact that Ryan Reynolds is willing to fight to get these people into his movies is testament to how he truly loves and respects his fellow actors, but also the fans who he knows LOVE these characters! Ryan Reynolds makes movies to ENTERTAIN!! Not to fulfill some agenda or political ideals. He wants the FANS to be happy and enjoy the movies he stars in, which is why HIS movies are the ONLY ones I always go see in the theater or buy on Blu-Ray or both. Even 30 second to 2 minutes cameos can be extremely special and important to both the actor and the fans who have wanted to see them either return as their favorite hero or star in a new movie as their favorite hero. Ryan Reynolds deserves every single accolade and ounce of love and respect for these choices and decisions he made for his fellow actors and fans.

He can still do it. I’d love it if when they do reintroduce the Xmen into the MCU, they give the main characters their own films then link them into Xavier’s Academy. I was impressed with how accurate his Cajun accent was, even moreso than the guy from X-Men and X-Men 97. I did agree with Wade about his tendency to be unintelligible, though lol.
Ryan Reynolds really went out in making sure that the past versions of the Marvel Universe in their prior companies got a sort of good farewell. Sure it was comedic, but I think it was proper to have shown them as actual characters. I still miss that the 2003 Eric Bana Hulk was not shown and even Liev Schreiber Sabertooth.
I hope Disney is taking notes to how well it was received by fans!
Gambit needs to be brought over and have his own movie!
Also Wesley snipes !!!! Dude still has it and I 100% believe he could easily do 3-4 movies specially with today’s ability’s !
Deadpool is my favorite character so clearly that is the one I want in the MCU universe for good but we need gambit !
I’ve never cared for Gambit personally. Watching the 90’s show I never cared for him.
But Channing’s portrayal as Gambit was ELECTRIC and Id love to see it!

Glad they didn’t, Kitsch Gambit sucked, Tatum nailed it as Remy, just a pity they couldn’t get it a decade ago when was a bit thinner.
