When you play a door you choose which side to play first by paying the cost of that side. To “unlock” the other side just pay the cost at the top of that side. You can do both at one or 1 initially and the other side later.
Wait a minite... Mogis can also be a commander, so 3 choises in the deck from start 😮 I think, at least. A little fuzzy aboit the "isn't a creature" part. Gonna have to google that up. But seem like a fun deck! Edit: Yea, he seem to be a legit commander. Finding many decks with him online. And his textbox isn't relative outside battlefield anyways. (Yes confirmed 100%, Mogis is a creature, but as it enter the textbox takes effect and he cease to be a creature unless requirements are met) "Pay 1 get 2 mana lands", they are basically just "manafix", you get both colors in one land. Which isn't too hard if you're just playing 2 colors anyways, but yea. Devotion is a god theme mechanic about devoting your faith in the god. Devotion count mana symbols a total. If you have one creature costing one red mana and one more creature costing 2 red mana, your total Devotion to red is 3. Only counting mana pips of color. Mogis counting both red and black together. So to have him as a creatue you need permanets in play woth enough red/black costs totalling 7 or more. Rooms are rather simple. Pay one half of it, get that ability. Then at sorcery speed you can unlock the other part and you get both sections active. So to get both parts of the room you need to pay both top costs and unlock them seeperately Efit 2: Hahaha ok Rakdos can also be a commander. I'm gonna stop commenting here about that xD there seem to be so many options on commanders in that deck! 😂 Edit 3: Vial smasher too, I commented anyways 😂 Edit 4: Yeaa I think I need to get this deck becasue it has like 100 possible commanders ^^ The only requirements for a commander is "Be a legendary creature" and "use the colors that the commander require you to pay for it"
Devotion to a color is equal to the number of mana symbols of the color(s) in the mana costs of permanents you control on the battlefield. So if you have 1 creature in plah that cost 2 red and 1 colorless your devotion to red would be 2.
I got some ptsd from seeing Rakdos, Lord of Riots. One of the guys in my playgroup built him a while back and you basically can't do anything without being hit with 1-7 damage in each turn and during his turn he pings during upkeep, draw, mainphase, beginning of combat, end of combat and mainphase 2. At which point most things in his deck are almost free to cast.😅😂
You need stuff to keep track of things that are happening while playing. I would use the thin cardboard punch-out to start, then start buying different accessories to replace them in the future! (I have a video some good accessories you can get to replace the punch-outs!)
I thought these were out for everyone. I just ordered them online and got them, but when I walked into the shop this weekend they were on the shelves for sale
All the cards aside, I loved you struggling to get into the pack. Such an Eddy thing. I rewatched you, Mel and Barry struggling 3 times. So good.
Hahaha, we’re a struggling family clearly 😂

That’s really cool, thanks for explaining!!

I’ll have to try the different commanders and let you know!

Ohh that makes sense, thanks!
This looks like such a fun/toxic deck. I got Miracle Worker and I'm excited to try it out.

completely new to mtg & i got these decks - are the thin cardboard punch-out circular tokens necessary for play?

@@EddyGatheringMagic thanks so much for the response! I will be checking out the video!
Is there a redeemable code for mtg arena included?
Nope! I don’t think Arena has commander mode yet
What do they mean by source in some of the cards?
I’m not sure? I don’t remember saying source 😂
Never mind thank you
why tf do people get this early??? and i have to wait............
