I've been using this mouse for four months and I love it. The firmware support on Discord is just so cool, they work better on their product than any other mouse manufacturer. The cable is fine if you know how handle it.
Would definitely check out the XM2 8K for the legendary XM shape. The XM2 8k is a safer shape, compared to the OP1 which is long and narrow (for me, it caused some hand cramps for my hands - 18.5 x 10.5). Also, for anyone saying 'eww wired' in 2024. This mouse holds its relevancy in wired performance. The OP1 8k & XM2 8k have the lowest actual latency, and performance you can feel and see the difference of that wireless (currently) cannot match. OP1 8k owners know what I am talking about. The wire is not that bad and is actually flexible for a stock wire. But again, up to you to try it out.

I bought this mouse about a month ago and, from the perspective of someone who isn't a "mouse connoisseur" it feels great. Coming from a GPX, which I realised just after I bought this one that it was just a bit too big for my hands (and as such the smaller OP1 8k fit my hands way better) with tiger ice skates it all around feels better built. i have tried wireless mice but i always end up going back to my G502, so I guess I should probably buy this one to finally replace my G502 indefinitely.
I switched from the Xlite v3 mini 4k to the Op1 8k purple and i don't know if it's the fact that it's wired or if it's the new 3950 sensor but the mouse feels so responsive and so smooth even at 4k hz. Also the clicks are very very responsive it's very comparable to the difference between low activation magnetic keyboards and "normal" 1mm to 2mm gaming keyboard Banger of a mouse
That’s how it should be with wired in general. No inconsistencies in data transfers (polling rate), and no data conversion/compression/down sampling to accommodate for wireless.
Great review per usual @Wasabi And been loving my OP1 8K for around 4 months. And have the purple frost in bound as i type. And wired doesn't bother me one bit. Cheers....Fatal
i think i will purchase that wired mouse. I feel it will last a lot of years vs a wireless mouse which the battery and wireless sensors will wear down .Pro gamers just keep receiving new ones from the sponsors so they don't care.

You are late with the review brother as EGG has released 2 new mouses this week a limited edition of the op1 8k(with the latest sensor 3950) and the a new xm2 8k mouse. The xm2 has faster click latency even beating the op1 8k.
I still think wired is better. I have been the number 1 player for 3.5 years in Code of War, and I find that the wired mouse is much better. I have the viper pro v3 and I prefer it to be connected wired. I can detect a slight lag using the dongle.
For people who said, oh no, this mouse is wired and not wireless, we are in 2024, Yikes, try to buy a mouse with 8kHz in wireless without the snappyfire, like the Sora V2, 100$ for the mouse + 70$ for the snappyfire in 8k.
