Hello I tried to disassemble the propeller but it wore out and now when I turn it with the screwdriver it spins in a vacuum How can I do it, can you help me?
BIG NO NO...DON'T APPLY TO THE SHAFT!!! If you are going to use an adhesive, apply it to the bore in the motor bell. That way, any excess is forced up and out where it can be wiped off and NOT down into the motor.
What keeps the bell attached? Would friction on the permanent magnets not prevent the bell from spinning? Or is it friction between the shaft and the bell??
It’s the friction between the shaft and the bell that keeps the bell on. It’s really, really tight. The permanent magnets never touch the magnets on the bell but I suppose the magnetic attraction does help keep the bell in place a bit as well.
Hello, I had an accident with my M4P and this part that you are putting back in its place I need to take it out to correct it. It turns out that due to the impact this blade support is slightly deformed and does not rotate freely. Do you know how I can disassemble it? Thank you very much and greetings in advance.
I’m not exactly sure where you’re working but if I’m hearing you correctly, and the blades aren’t rotating freely, if the rod that holds the blades in place is somehow deformed, buying a new motor bell assembly may be the only thing you can do. That may not be much help but that’s what it sounds like without seeing it. The motor bell is very very snug on the motor gear. It must be carefully wiggled up to get it off if it’s not already loose from being damaged
They are designed to be very tight and almost impossible to take off. This is intentional. If the motor bell comes loose and falls off during flight. It’s over. The reason why mine was so easy is because it was broken.
Does this come off the same as a mini 3 pro? I’ve damaged the screw shaft trying to remove a rounded screw. I’m hoping I can just replace the motor housing by taking it off like in this video
It’s done the same way. Normally the mirror bell should be very snug in place by cogs that fit tightly with the shaft. If you are having trouble getting it off, I wonder if that’s even the problem?!?
I’ll tell you but please use ultimate caution and precision. Use the smallest finest punch and punch a dent in the center. Drill with the absolute skinniest drill bit you can find down as far as the screw goes. Drop a drop off lithium grease to loosen. Put the punch back in and gently wiggle it out. Good luck.
@@sciencebygabrawy I have broken a screw it it just simpler to replace the bell housing ? I thank you for your video as I thought I would have to dismantle this (back up drone , the insurance ran out , and its only just been recovered from crashing in a tree , about three months ago , it works fine until I replaced a few scuffed blades , you have saved me £ hundreds
i changed my prop and a piece of debris was inside the motor, i managed to take it off but after that i got a ESC error and power system hardware error
Yes, you can and that might be the only way to remove the metal bits. Now, that bell is really tight on there and it’s supposed to be because it’s held in place by friction. Pull straight up. Don’t wiggle back and forth. Just one straight motion. Then use tweezers or even putty to remove the particles. There’s a small chance that compressed air could knock of the metal bits without taking anything apart. Let us know what you end up doing! Good luck!
Maybe try to blow compressed air if you think dirt or sand got in the motor. Is there power going to it at all? Do you feel it moving a little or no motion at all?
If you’re using the correct size Phillips screwdriver, and the head isn’t stripped, then maybe they just overtightened the screws in which case maybe just drop a drop of lithium grease or WD-40 and see between the threads. That’s just very strange to me but I can’t think of any other reason that the screws won’t come out.
Good Job my friend , Biglike from Charles Zoellner Channel 😃👍👍
Thank you sir!
Thxs. Ready for sale 👍
Thanks for sharing sir, watching from Iligan City

Oh wow I didn’t even think of that!
Where can i get them? Can you please link it to me?
This is what I found on Amazon

No clue how you took that metal part out that holds the blades. Literally wont come off even when prying it
Did you find a solution to take it off?
@@KongoDelivery I need to take it off too!
Agreed ... its not happening .. I need a mini barring puller

Is it possible to take off motor on the dj mini 2? Tried , very hard

Yes! It comes off the exact same way and the parts are readily available! Good luck!
I feel your pain , but this video has saved me £200 I had better send the soldering iron back
Is it possible to do the same on Mini 3? I tried to take off it, but didn't succeeded...

ON the HUB ONLY !!! ON the HUB!!! ON the HUB!!! ON the HUB!!! ON the HUB!!!
Yes. Gotta be careful

Wow! Errors do occur from time to time but not from a simple prop change. I’m certain DJI would help right away trouble shooting.

More strength popping that bell off it will shatter
Yes. Mine was quite loose because the aluminum bell had worn out so much. But yes, it really is a tight fit.
You think it's possible to remove the bell from an good drone? (I have some metal paricles on the magnets)

A bird attacked my drone it fell and the motor is not rotating what should I do

Amigo tô com drone motor travo tem como mim chama no zap
Meu amigo, sinto muito, mas não falo português. Caiu na areia? Ar comprimido funciona para isso
Why is there so much slack? has the thread worn out?
Yep, gotta be from too many collisions. The motor bell cogs are just soft aluminum.
I don't know how you did that because it's impossible to get those screws loose
