was it back beach? If you don't want to give away your spot, can you give me some pointers. I might be staying up in a Lancelin for a few days, and I'm also thinking about targeting mulloway. Have you caught mulloway up there? Thanks, your vids are very straight forward and easy for me to understand!
We don't state specific spots, though fish are always moving and the sea weed closes out many places. We catch snapper both north and south of town. The main trick is to know where you can cast to the edge of a reef to have success. North of lancelin the size limit is 41cm south 50cm. It is a great time to catch snapper now, the mulloway are not great over the summer months at Lancelin. We do fishing tours and take people to where we expect to fire for the day and time of year based on our local knowledge built up over the years. www.tailoredtreks.com.au
Not to much of a secret my grandfather was catching them before I was born. It's always nice to pay on a bit of knowledge to those who didn't have the type of upbringing to learn from family. No secret location disclosed.
@@rikirex2162 without tourists no jobs for locals, no coffee shops, no takeaway food, sand dunes will be mined away. As for grocery shopping it's even not great now. Not sure where you worked when here, not many lobster boats here these days so few jobs from industry.
Sorry we don't go into specific spots. When the snapper are in they are near all the inshore reefs. Mid December to mid May pretty much any morning you can catch them. Now it is best to go try straight after a swell has been running.

Outstanding video. I wish I could get out to places like this more often
I have been blessed to live in lano, only minutes from home can catch quality fish.
Was going to come up on Wednesday wondering how far north should I go
The snapper have been every where lately, north and south. More importantly find some reef you can cast out to the edge.
That was a fun session Peter, red hot bite on the sunrise well done 🐟🎣
Off the cast is always satisfying
keep the secret mate.
