+Renaldo Nelson a5 is still a good looking car but styling is a bit dated for 2016, inside and outside - too little headroom for a 6-1 tall - interior has no finese, clean layout but very utilitarian and a little boring - seats are hard leather, kinda cheap - entertainment (non-mmi/nav) is just straight out of 2000, no touchscreen, no album art, just text, confusing to navigate - trip computer is cluttered with useless info and hard to navigate - wierd steering wheel controls with rollers instead regular buttons - redundant and low quality information display between gauges. It is complete opposite to what i heard about audi being technologically state of the art vehicle. Mechanically - reversed tiptronic manual gear shifter (forward to gear up) - while breaking automatic downshifting slows car down and affects the way you have to operate brake pedal, not too smooth - 2.0t engine a little underpowered for a sport car - poor fuel economy 16.6 mpg everyday long island suburban driving
+Renaldo Nelson on a good note - a5 built quality is second to none - high quality interior materials (except leather), no cheap hard plastic surfaces, no rattles, power windows have no play and are smooth - despite small engine this car is fun to drive thanks to turbo - very light and accurate steering - no body roll in tight turns, this is what i like the most, a5 holds road like it was clamped to it, car may feel a little heavy for some but i actually like it - 8speed auto lags a little when upshifting, and downshifting is always harsh - pay attention to it when testdriving, tranny is not the best. In general, i never test drove eclass or 4series, but the fact that i expected more from audi made me a little disapointed. Dont get me wrong, a5 is still a hot and fun car, i just think eclass has more elegance, and bmw4 has more character and edge. After 7 weeks i am not sure if i would rather go with eclass, but definitely would consider bmw4 as it has bigger engine and fresher styling
i think i might just wait until the 2014 e class coupe has had more time to depreciation. The front end styling is INSANE on the new benzs compared to say the 2013 model. For now I will keep my 2012 XF portfolio :) You wanna talk interior? My XF's two tone leather interior is nuts! :)
I'm a BMW guy but this is a nice ride
