Pre facelift models are kind of ´´buggy´´. Lots of electronics problems and most of all the SBC is quite an expensive issue to fix. One more thing, this particular car must be produced before 2007(maybe the plates are 2007), since the facelift is going in production in 2006.
Hey man...... Ive got a Foxmobile...it is a sept 2004 chipped 320 amg diesel ..it has NO probs and it kicks ass!!!!.....
06 does not have electrical problems.problems . all electrical issues were corrected after 04...
SBC has LIFETIME GUARANTEE that came out in 2018, for any previous cars... Have a 2004 E55 AMG with 100k on it, still no issues... I'm very glad MB came out with this Lifetime warranty. No more worries about SBC!!!
The sbc brakes are guaranteed for 20 years...I got a letter from mb America

I drove one of these today. Very nice, but a bit too soft for my tastes. It's tough, the one I drove was in exceptional condition, but the rear sunshade didn't work. And the ESP had a fault which the Jaguar dealer said they would fix. This fault also I suspect deactivated the cruise control and sport mode so I was not able to fully test the car. I suspect correcting the ESP fault would make the cruise and sport mode function as well.
It looks like a 4 matic (the car has more ground clearance than others E Klasse w211)
