International flights normally includes food with their flight ticket. And not all flights allow food to be taken overboard. Specially a lot of food you have to throw away if the country you are flying to has food regulation regarding meat or cooked food.
Never had my food thrown away on international flights
Food is allowed on the flight, but fresh fruits veggies raw meat not allowed in the destinated countries without declaration.

@@goeticfolklorebut what about once you’re inside the country? When you go from international flight to domestic you need to pass customs and you’re not meant to bring fresh food and meat right? Maybe ive been living in countries with strict customs for too long 😅 to be fair I brought food into my country heaps of times back in the day, and I think Ulaanbaatar had pretty chill customs back back when I visited if I remember correctly

YES those japanese chocolates really are so good!! my dad came back from a business trip to japan and he brought those and ohh my god they were HEAVENLY and we even order some every so often

If he's flying to Mongolia, they do serve meals on board the plane. I get the snacks if you're feeling peckish and the onboard options just won't do, but I'm confused about the noodles because won't those just be cold during the flight? Also, if you're entering another country, fresh fruit is a no no so those need to be eaten or thrown away if they aren't consumed during the flight.
Cold noodles are also delicious. Especially the ones she prepared for Dough here are being served cold in China as well.

I did not even know you could take snacks (or full meals) like this on flights. Can you do this everywhere?
I always thought you couldn't take anything like this through the security check. I also want to know if this can be done on any flight?
If it’s not liquid you can take it. But you can’t bring fresh fruits or meat etc into the other country, you have to eat it while on the plane (or throw it away)
@@neoizm, thank you. I don't take flights very often and tend to be overcautious when I do. I even stress out if I suddenly remember maybe a snack bar I meant to eat on the way to the airport is still in my rucksack. My brother once told me of being hassled by security over baby food for his then-toddler. It was shop-bought and unopened which he had to open and eat to show it was not dangerous.
I still can't imagine taking home-cooked noodles and all those snacks with me on a flight. ☺
I'm leaving for international trip in 2 weeks. Thank you for the inspiration... I'll be bringing noodles topped with Szechuan peppercorn lemongrass powder and mixed with marinated wood ear mushrooms. All of a sudden, that 9-hour flight doesn't seem so bad after all!

Reminds me of my driver's ed class, which took place at 4pm every evening. The instructor said at the beginning that he understands that it's a inconvenient time for teens getting out of school and then to driver's ed and leaves little to no time to eat so if we want to bring something to eat during class that's fine by him. He was thinking a sandwich from home, a piece of fruit from the produce stand in the same parking lot, Subway from next door. He was not anticipating two girls who sat up front to come every single day with 6 containers of food. Fried chicken, three sides, cake for dessert. Every day.
Doug is travelling to my home country! I home he likes it! And has a wonderful time and gets to smell the fresh air of Mongolia 🇲🇳

Those Tseng noodles r so good! It doesn't get soggy easily. As someone who has a low to medium spice tolerance, it's very good.

You can bring your boxed meal onboard (unless the airline doesn’t allow), but REMEMBER to finish it, or throw it away when arriving your destination for international flight. The last thing you want is getting a fine from bio security officer at immigration.
Meat, vegetables, fruits are prohibited to enter for most countries.

If he is eating this in his flight then for more flavour he can either wear noise cancelling headphones or u can add a extra flavour.
I just bought those noodles last week and they are so good! Their ruffled edges grab the sauce, so each bite is really flavor packed. Highly recommend for a quick weeknight meal!
What type of noodle were they?!
@@mosqutio88 It says Chinese shanxi planed noodles on the package. They were in the dried noodle aisle of my local Asian grocer. Not sure if it's widely available in most grocery stores, I got it from a local business and not a chain.

Only thing that worries me is the peanut bar bc of ppl with severe nut allergies who could die from being in the same airspace as nuts during a flight

In australia, we arent allowed to take prepared food, or fresh food, through customs for international flights. And we arent allowed to take fresh fruit interstate. It sucks having to rely on the airline meals
