I definitely prefer strength over longevity. I want to smell the scent every time I walk into the room. Thank you sooo much for your reviews - as always, not only informative but quite entertaining. 😂
Longevity is more important to me BUT a strong and long-lasting scent is always a winner example…Arctic Kiss, definitely in my top 3 favorite scents it is high on scent appeal and last forever… I hope they will one day rotate Club bricks and make some Fall/Winter scents available Question for you for live stream… 1. If you could only melt 3 scents the rest of your life what would you choose? 2. What scent(s) from last year’s Spring/Summer catalog do you hope will return?
Thank you Patricia !! Very colorful and descriptive reviews!!! To me STRENGTH is the most important quality of a fragrance!!! The whole neighborhood should smell it!!! 😂😂😂😂
Strength for me. QUESTIONS: When you say you are going to stock up on a scent rather than club it, what is your process for determining how many bars to get? Related, how much of a stockpile makes you remove a bar from club?
Your Quiver and burger stories made me smile. Team Strong!! Question for your video, besides bars what is your other favorite Scentsy product you use all all the time?
Strong if its a scent I'm warming in my main work area (so it will cover more of the wet doggie scents I get on a daily bases) and long if its in my bathroom. But i still change out my wax every other day no matter what is warming or where its warming.
I prefer strong scents. I’m always looking for scents that work well in an open concept. I just picked up a diffuser from the diffuser promotion. I would love to hear any tips and tricks you may have for using a diffuser in an open concept.
Strength hands down. I have an open concept (ceilings are certainly not as tall as the 2nd floor- but it is vaulted- and then we have an open stairwell to the basement). One question for the Live- how do you manage/arrange your wax stash to know what you want to warm next/prepare for your warming basket?
Quiver is my all time favorite scent so far and the analogy of Blanche from Golden Girls is spot on!! 😅 and she is also the tipsy aunt hitting on the pool boy to her family’s embarrassment 😂. Thank you for the reviews! I can’t wait to warm my bars of quiver ❤
Uh oh, if you don't like Quiver, I probably won't. 😅 I find I like/dislike similar scents to you. And I just ordered some bars. 🤦🏻♀️ 🤞🤞I'm a "long". 😂 Most of the scents I love are relatively light, but I also find the light ones last way longer. Or at least, there's no shocking difference in smell as they start to wear off. Know what I mean? Like some bakery scents for example start really strong, but very quickly just turn into an off-smelling vanilla or something of the like. At least to my nose.
Strength is more important to me because of my open layout. I know it was an either or, but if a scent only lasts 4 hours or less, then it is not a repurchase for me. So longevity is important to that extent because some of my favorite scents tend to be strong for a few hours and then disappear which is disappointing.
Definitely strength over longevity! I get bored with scents after a couple of days. I don't waste wax, because I'll put it aside and warm it again when I'm in the mood. Here in the south, our weather changes daily. Last week we had 70º weather then 32º the next day. I didn't want the same scent going on each day. lol
Hi Patricia. Hope you are all doing well..💕 None of those 3 scents are go to's for us or to warm in our home. There wasn't many bars in this round that were to our liking. To answer your question, I think we would much prefer STRONG scents.
So sorry I missed voting 😔 but I did want to comment on your Strength vs. Longevity question. I think I prefer Longevity over strength. Sometimes scents blow me out of the house unexpectedly, or are perfect for only such a short time. I really love coming back into a space after some time and still smelling the scent I put in. I thoroughly enjoy being able to smell the scent in the space for longer over having super strength 😉
Strength for me. I have lots of scents I still haven't tried and lots that I love so I don't mind changing out the wax often. Thanks for your very entertaining and informative reviews. Your descriptions really help me remember scents long after the video. 😊 Have a great week!
I absolutely love your 'scenarios'! They are spot on 😆 Also you have convinced me to try Cucumber Lime. I am sort of burnt out on cucumber scents BUT I do love lemon and lime. SO thank you! My preference is LONG....a subtle fragrance for a while instead of burst and done 😊
Great review Patricia! Isn't it interesting how turning the warmer off can really defeat some scents for day 2. Loved the Quiver discussion.🤣 For me, if I love a scent I really appreciate the longevity, but for most scents, one day is enough. Thank you as always for your review friend. ❤️🥰🤗
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes yes and isn't that strange? You would think the oil is still in there so what difference does it make... I would like to know the chemistry behind that! Going strong at an 8 to a 9 and then turn it on the next day and it's a 4 😵
CL did great in my huge OL for about 5 hrs. GTS was nice for me in my BR and could have went 2 days but I was trying different things, Quiver was pretty and performed well.
Im really an in your face scent person…. I don’t care if it is a 1 dryer…. My question would be…. What is your best preforming warmer and where do you have it to get that performance…..
Great reviews Patricia! I was wondering about Green Tea Smoothie. My answer to you question is Strength and Intensity are more important to me. I want to smell it and I change my wax out frequently so long lasting not as important. TFS Doll! ❤️🌹😍
Hi I'm Team STRENGTH all the way. For some reason, Scentsy wax doesn't perform well in my apartment (it's done great everywhere else I've lived), so for me to be able to smell it, it has to be super strong! Thanks and have a great week.
Quiver was a no-go for me 🤣 definitely cashmere-y, mature, perfumey, amber, floral....honestly the 1st thing it reminded me of was....👀 scented feminine products 🤣🤣🤣 so I just don't see myself reaching for Quiver again!
Between 5 and 8 bars are going to my club with this BBMB. I think it’s just he beat lineup in years. Though…those 3 scents are at the bottom of the list for me. Usually strong is better than long lasting for me.
Strength is most important. I change my open concept/main level wax every morning so each scent goes in between 6-730am and comes out the same time next day so I don't need it to carry days. However, I do tend to keep my bedroom and upstairs scents in longer. But definitely strength matters. Have you felt like there has been any inconsistency lately with the performance of the bars? I feel like a lot of the newer BBMB are so much lighter than I remember. I was hoarders a few woodland suede from it's last return I think around 2017-2018 and those seem to be so much stronger. The new ones are just barely there for me. Also, I've been finding sometimes I warm ascent and it's super strong and noticeable and then the next time I warm the same scent, I can hardly smell it! I'm hoping this may be a me thing and perhaps my sniffer is defective lol
Definitely strength/intensity. I like to change my wax out too frequently to really care about longevity. As long as I can smell it without having to search for the scent and it lasts a day I'm good! Thanks Patricia 🙂
I always enjoy your scent analogies! ☺ I am a strength person,, I do suffer migraines, so I just have to be careful.. Typically I leave my warmers on overnight and need to change the wax the next day anyways, or I get excited to warm a new scent and don't mind changing a bit more frequently. If I find a long lasting scent, then that's a bonus ❤
Love your Quiver analogy! We all have a special place in our hearts for aunt Blanche! But not particularly a special place in my Scentsy stash for Quiver! 🙃 What a sweet husband to take the pickle & onions off and whip them out the window! He obviously wanted you to enjoy your burger! I prefer strength for open concept scents and longevity for bedroom and bathroom scents! 😉 I am hoping I will be able to catch the live! But I will definitely watch the replay either way! Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Smiles, Abby Smith
hi Patricia! im late to the party again, but I always love catching up on your channel.😊 I prefer longevity, as long as I can smell it. I do get excited to change out a lot of times tho🙃
Strength, most definitely. I don't care how long it lasts, I just want to be able to smell it. If I have to go sticking my nose in the warmer dish, what good is it? Lol!
Hi Patricia! Absolutely loved your description of Quiver, and your description was spot on, I totally can picture what it would smell like. :-) For your first request, my question for you would be, if there were any scent that Scentsy hasn't tried their hand at yet that you would love to see them take a stab at, what would it be? As for your question to us. I would have to say that I really do like long lasting. I would have to say that strength is probably more important to me. I hate putting something in that I can't smell or that company I have over can't smell. I would like at least four or five days of it, even when scent level drops down, but I do like a scent with a nice amount of throw. I only have two warmers, one in our half bath downstairs, but it fills up our entire living space down there when there's a good strong scent in, and I have one in my master bath. That one tends to throw through the entire top level. It's a very open concept type of space, so sometimes there is a nice blending of fragrances as the two meet.
Long. The problem with my favorite scents is that they don’t last at all. Amusing video this week. The wife ordered all three scents and I can’t wait to see what they smell like and compare notes. Thank you for another great video. See you next week. My question: have you ever been stopped out in public…recognized by a fan? It so, how did each encounter transpire?
Patricia ... I am dying with your analogy of Quiver! You are spot on with where it is in the family 🤣 for me, it's a bit too much, I would still pick Cozy Cashmere over this. Always so happy to see your Tester Tuesdays in my feed! ❤
Hi Patricia, thanks for these great reviews! I love both strength and longevity - perfect combo - but if I had to pick one, it would be strength! I love a scent where people walk in and ask "what is that smell" ❤ I am melting Johnny Appleseed today 😉 Have a great day!!
Ack! Why must I choose! I want both strength and longevity -----but if i have to choose I will go with strength. Thanks for another great review! I hope to catch your live - replay for sure. For my question - what are you hoping for in the spring summer catalogue?
Looking forward to hearing if cranberry muffin smells different. I too had a wonky bar. I’d love to hear more about you! Whatever you’re comfortable sharing - the internet can be a weird place. 🤪 I’m more strong. I get sick of wax and like to change it often so long lasting doesn’t always appeal to me. 😉
What one scent are you hoping made it in the winner list of the next BBMB round?? I’m a strength melter! I dont like having to use an entire bar to get something going in my house.
Wow thats a tough question for someone like me... 🤣I guess if by throwing more wax at it I can smell it better, then longevity is most important. But if I cant' smell it except by hovering over it, then it won't last in my warmer long enough to find out if it has longevity lol I know I won't repurchase a scent that doesn't last for me, no matter how nice it was.
Longevity for the win!!! If I can get 36-48 hours out of an open concept scent and several days out of a bathroom/bedroom scent I am happy! I have a good question for live... what sorts of additional products would you like to see Scentsy come out with?
I had higher hopes for 2 this week. Quiver since I like Cashmere and Curdoroy, but agree just not for me. And Green Tea Smoothie. Winter berry apple tea and Chamomile Daisy are favorites of mine, and wanted a couple more "tea accents". I have the same sentiments about White Tea and Cactus I had to remove it from my warmer 😅 so the notes of crisp iceberg lettuce ha. Will have to try warming but on cold yes doesn't have as much appeal as I was hoping. What is your overall thoughts on this BBMB compared to prior releases? I like longevity. I want scents to last at least 2 days without having to turn off the warmers. Which I find after a couple days my mood is ready for something new anyways
Did make it thru a bar of GT smoothie. Warming it in two bathrooms now. It's okay but weirdly sweet. Also warming flower shop to try to help with that green note that I am missing Will not be repurchasing
"Do you prefer strong or long? " Need to take my head out of the gutter.lol... Strong ! Question for the life stream would be, how much of the new scents over the years do you think are somewhat recycled from older ones, or "borrowed"from other inspiration? In other words, do you think they do a good job of coming up with original fragrances, or at this point do you feel like so many of the scents you get are just twists on something you've smelled before?
I’ve added your question for the live stream I laugh at the head in the gutter comment because my very first video of that series I said something to that affect
My answer is on Instagram - ooooo look at me changing it up 🤓 This was so funny and fun to watch! Between Aunt Blanch and your husband throwing onions and pickles out the car window, I was cracking up. Awesome way to start the morning! Thank you for a great review, have a fabulously smelly week!
Thank you for the reviews and the hilarious descriptions 😄 Definitely strength/intensity for me. Actually, I prefer it when they don't last too long since I like changing the wax often 😊
😂😂😂 Patricia your description for Quiver makes me can't for my club to arrive! I put it in my club because I thought that I would love it and now I'm very intrigued. Funny thing.... I love The Nanny and I love Blanch 😉. I'm a strong scents girl because I get bored easily so I'm good with a strong one day scent. Thanks for the laugh today! 😄
Your daughter’s a trooper. Neither of my girls would’ve left their warmers on for Quiver. I can see Fran (the nanny) wearing Quiver and blanche wearing the softer, original Burberry. Most important- strength If I think of a Q I’ll add it later.
My daughter was ok with Quiver each time I warmed it over the years so I didn’t even ask. By mistake I put Rum Raisin Cookie in her room and she texted me and said it was too much and she had to turn it off so I moved that scent elsewhere
Longevity would be my preference - though the overall scent appeal is the most important factor. So disappointing to get a new bar ad find that it really isn't right for me.
Strength and intensity.
Bummer. I like voting. 😉
Definitely a strength person
I would prefer it to be long lasting as long as I can smell it, I'm happy.
Thanks Natalie
Strength! For sure
I love Quiver going way back. It's a beautiful scent. I prefer longevity over strength.
Thanks for sharing!
I definitely prefer strength over longevity. I want to smell the scent every time I walk into the room. Thank you sooo much for your reviews - as always, not only informative but quite entertaining. 😂
You are so welcome!
Seriously you have to be one of the very best out there when it comes to describing scents, the details and everything i love that
Thank you - that’s so very nice to hear!
Hi Patricia, longevity. Thank you.
I really liked cucumber lime and removed coco lime from my scentsy club. I prefer cucumber lime!
That’s a win in a way I guess
Longevity is more important to me BUT a strong and long-lasting scent is always a winner example…Arctic Kiss, definitely in my top 3 favorite scents it is high on scent appeal and last forever… I hope they will one day rotate Club bricks and make some Fall/Winter scents available

1. If you could only melt 3 scents the rest of your life what would you choose?
2. What scent(s) from last year’s Spring/Summer catalog do you hope will return?
I love Arctic Kiss also
Long lasting
I added coco lime to the cucumber lime. It added that extra for our open layout.
I might do that
Thank you Patricia !! Very colorful and descriptive reviews!!! To me STRENGTH is the most important quality of a fragrance!!! The whole neighborhood should smell it!!! 😂😂😂😂
Haha - sometimes mine does
Strength for me. QUESTIONS: When you say you are going to stock up on a scent rather than club it, what is your process for determining how many bars to get? Related, how much of a stockpile makes you remove a bar from club?
Thanks Deb. I’ve added both to the live discussion list of Qs
Ok, question-
If you could only choose 8 scentsy bars to warm year round in your open concept which 8 would they be? What would be the runner up?
Thank you - your question has been added to my live stream list
Longevity 💯
I prefer strength. If I can't smell it , it doesn't matter how long it lasts.
So true
Your Quiver and burger stories made me smile.
Team Strong!!
Question for your video, besides bars what is your other favorite Scentsy product you use all all the time?
Glad they made you smile 😊
Strong if its a scent I'm warming in my main work area (so it will cover more of the wet doggie scents I get on a daily bases) and long if its in my bathroom. But i still change out my wax every other day no matter what is warming or where its warming.
Thanks. I put you as a strong since that’s what you mentioned first
Strong strength- for open layouts 😊
I think I prefer strength of scent over longevity. Shannon 😊
Strength over longevity :-)
I prefer strong scents. I’m always looking for scents that work well in an open concept.
I just picked up a diffuser from the diffuser promotion. I would love to hear any tips and tricks you may have for using a diffuser in an open concept.
Thanks! I’ll discuss diffusers for sure
Strength! Since I work, I only melt in the evenings, so 2 good evenings or all day on a weekend is fine with me.
Thanks for sharing Mary
I prefer strength over longevity. You know the saying… I’m here for a good time not a long time.
Also, you have the best reviews and analogies! ❤
🤣
Lost some coffee over this comment!
@@debg9133 Sorry. lol! ☕
Great point!
Thank you!!
Longevity for sure. Love your reviews!
Glad you like them!
Strength because I change daily.
Makes sense
Strength hands down. I have an open concept (ceilings are certainly not as tall as the 2nd floor- but it is vaulted- and then we have an open stairwell to the basement). One question for the Live- how do you manage/arrange your wax stash to know what you want to warm next/prepare for your warming basket?
Sounds great! Question has been added to the live stream list Carrie
I assume you’re waiting on an order…That’s great you’re getting a favourite back!
I prefer a strong scent. It's a bonus if it lasts a long time!

Yea I know. Some scents have different phases of intensity for sure. I often like both stages
Strength is more important to me because of my open layout. I know it was an either or, but if a scent only lasts 4 hours or less, then it is not a repurchase for me. So longevity is important to that extent because some of my favorite scents tend to be strong for a few hours and then disappear which is disappointing.

I’ve recorded you answer as part if the tally
Definitely strength over longevity! I get bored with scents after a couple of days. I don't waste wax, because I'll put it aside and warm it again when I'm in the mood. Here in the south, our weather changes daily. Last week we had 70º weather then 32º the next day. I didn't want the same scent going on each day. lol
That’s very smart of you. Do you pour it back into the clam or place the wax in a scent safe bag?
Oh man, the quiver section made my day :)
I’m glad 🙂
Hi Patricia.
Hope you are all doing well..💕
None of those 3 scents are go to's for us or to warm in our home.
There wasn't many bars in this round that were to our liking.
To answer your question, I think we would much prefer STRONG scents.
Money saved with this round I guess!
Strong!
We didn’t vote this week so you didn’t miss anything at all
Thanks for weighing in…I appreciate it
Strength. I will repurchase strong scents I really like even if they're short lasting .. but if it's weak, it's not a repurchase.
Got it!
Strength for me. I have lots of scents I still haven't tried and lots that I love so I don't mind changing out the wax often. Thanks for your very entertaining and informative reviews. Your descriptions really help me remember scents long after the video. 😊 Have a great week!
Haha I agree - sometimes I remember my “renames” of scents during flash sales when time to decide to purchase is of the essence
Cucumber alone is not subtle so be careful!!
I do like cucumber scents, so I'm glad to hear the cucumber comes out with this one.
For me it does! The skin of the cucumber
Strength is more important to me!

I would say longevity is more important. My warmers are on for at least 15 hours a day so I like my scents to last at least that long 😊
(Some people might not consider that long lasting)
Perfect timing.
Strength.

Thank you both
Hi I'm Team STRENGTH all the way. For some reason, Scentsy wax doesn't perform well in my apartment (it's done great everywhere else I've lived), so for me to be able to smell it, it has to be super strong! Thanks and have a great week.
Omg. That is a weird shift in dynamics. I joke (kind of) but I’d consider moving! Lol
Do other companies perform for you?
Quiver was a no-go for me 🤣 definitely cashmere-y, mature, perfumey, amber, floral....honestly the 1st thing it reminded me of was....👀 scented feminine products 🤣🤣🤣 so I just don't see myself reaching for Quiver again!
Omg! Not a great scent association

There was a list in 2020 that I added about 5-6 scents. Those rounds are killer on the club
We prefer long in our house- several of us tend to have migraines and strong scents seem to trigger headaches for them.
If you encounter a strong scent how do you deal with it? Mix, use less, not warm etc?
Strength for me. I don’t mind changing wax more frequently, but I want to smell it when it’s melting.
Definitely strength. I change out my wax daily, but I really want to be able to smell and enjoy it while it’s in the warmers.
Thanks for sharing!!

Haha - all in good fun

I prefer long lasting scents.
I looooove quiver and it lasted so long for me
It’s quite long lasting
Love your Quiver analogy! We all have a special place in our hearts for aunt Blanche! But not particularly a special place in my Scentsy stash for Quiver! 🙃 What a sweet husband to take the pickle & onions off and whip them out the window! He obviously wanted you to enjoy your burger! I prefer strength for open concept scents and longevity for bedroom and bathroom scents! 😉 I am hoping I will be able to catch the live! But I will definitely watch the replay either way! My husband likely forgot to ask for. I pickles and no onions and was trying to correct his mistake. 🤣
So you didn’t pick - strong or long?
For me it’s strength. I like to change scents often
Strength .... Thanks for the video... You always do a fantastic job at describing the scent.. Hope you are doing well and have a great day!
Thanks, you too! I appreciate your kind comment 🥰
Strength/intensity! Your descriptions are the best! Quiver hitting on Johnny at the pool 🤣

hi Patricia! im late to the party again, but I always love catching up on your channel.😊 I prefer longevity, as long as I can smell it. I do get excited to change out a lot of times tho🙃

I’m more strong. I get sick of wax and like to change it often so long lasting doesn’t always appeal to me. 😉
I think a lot of addicts get bored and want more frequent changes
What one scent are you hoping made it in the winner list of the next BBMB round??
I’m a strength melter! I dont like having to use an entire bar to get something going in my house.
Thank you
I’ve also added your question for the live video
Hahaha I love this cucumber line because of the cucumber lol I hate lime but in this bar it’s bringing a freshness to the bar love it
We’re the opposites on that one
😂🤣Love the Quiver description and visual, spot on. Strength!! Want to smell it a block away😄
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed
Strength for me
Definitely want a strong scent!
Wow thats a tough question for someone like me... 🤣I guess if by throwing more wax at it I can smell it better, then longevity is most important. But if I cant' smell it except by hovering over it, then it won't last in my warmer long enough to find out if it has longevity lol
I know I won't repurchase a scent that doesn't last for me, no matter how nice it was.
Thanks for your insight
Your description of Quiver is spot on! You had me laughing!
Haha! We need a Tuesday laugh some days
I prefer strength and appreciate your reviews. How did you get started with Scentsy?
Thanks Laura
I’ve added your Q to the livestream List
Longevity for the win!!! If I can get 36-48 hours out of an open concept scent and several days out of a bathroom/bedroom scent I am happy! I have a good question for live... what sorts of additional products would you like to see Scentsy come out with?
Thanks for sharing!!
Question is on the list
Thank you. Let me know what you think
If GT Smoothie once you try it out
Question has been added for the live stream
Did make it thru a bar of GT smoothie. Warming it in two bathrooms now. It's okay but weirdly sweet. Also warming flower shop to try to help with that green note that I am missing
Will not be repurchasing
Strength is what I look for. I don't mind changing wax daily, but it better fill a room. If it can't be smelled well, what's the point?
You’ve got an excellent point
Happy Tester Tuesday, I would have to say Strength is more important to me!
Happy Tester Tuesday (a day late commenting)
I'm in camp strength over longevity. There is nothing I find more frustrating than using a whole bar of wax and not having it fill a room.
Yes - that’s not good Scentsy “value” to have to use a whole bar
"Do you prefer strong or long? "
Need to take my head out of the gutter.lol...
I’ve added your question for the live stream
I laugh at the head in the gutter comment because my very first video of that series I said something to that affect
My answer is on Instagram - ooooo look at me changing it up 🤓
This was so funny and fun to watch! Between Aunt Blanch and your husband throwing onions and pickles out the car window, I was cracking up. Awesome way to start the morning! Thank you for a great review, have a fabulously smelly week!
I’m glad you liked the video. I’m really behind on comments this week. Sick kids
Thank you for the reviews and the hilarious descriptions 😄
Definitely strength/intensity for me. Actually, I prefer it when they don't last too long since I like changing the wax often 😊
I use less cubes to ensure I’m changing it more often
😂😂😂 Patricia your description for Quiver makes me can't for my club to arrive! I put it in my club because I thought that I would love it and now I'm very intrigued. Funny thing.... I love The Nanny and I love Blanch 😉. I'm a strong scents girl because I get bored easily so I'm good with a strong one day scent. Thanks for the laugh today! 😄
I’ve been watching clips from The Nanny on TH-cam lately and singing the Golden Girls theme song
@@PatriciaG-NosetoToes 😆
Your daughter’s a trooper. Neither of my girls would’ve left their warmers on for Quiver.
I can see Fran (the nanny) wearing Quiver and blanche wearing the softer, original Burberry.
Most important- strength
If I think of a Q I’ll add it later.
Great point
