Actually the final boss in MK11 is both Liu Kang and Shang Tsung. Unless you count Aftermath as a separate game, but if that's the case it should be on video.
If Shang Tsung & Fire God Liu Kang are the actual final bosses in MK 11 Aftermath, then why it's only in Story Mode when it also should be on the Towers as extra bosses to face after Kronika?
MK Shang Tsung: Good but a bit underwhelming. Sprite always looked odd to me, he didn't have much to offer as he mostly copied all other fighters, and he wasn't particularly hard. There's a good reason Goro is better remembered. 7/10. MK2/3 Shao Kahn: Best boss in the franchise. Big, intimidating and hard as nails. He being the narrator added so much to his personality, and it's a very memorable boss overall. MK3 added his iconic hammer and made him even more brutal, and yet I never felt he was totally impossible even if I wasted dozens of coins/lives to beat him. 10/10 MK4 Shinnok: Completely underwhelming boss. Shang Tsung with even less personality since he doesn't even change forms or have an unique projectile. He being a standard playable character from the start was the worst part, and he having no boss-type buffs sealed his fate as an unremarkable clown. 2/10 MKDA Shang Tsung&Quan Chi: Pretty good setup as the new big bosses in the story, but were a bit of a letdown since they were just 2 normal battles with standard (if slightly more powerful) characters with nothing special or unique to them as bosses. If they did something unique like a 2-on-1 battle or used the DK's army, but oh well.... 6/10 MKD Onaga: At the time, quite incredible presentation. Big, imposing, even a bit horrorifying with how he was setup in the intro and Konquest. You wanted to beat him down bad, and you knew he'd put up a hell of a fight. He was big, did big damage and could even insta-kill you with the stage. Not as hard as Shao Kahn, specially with Kamidogus opening him up. Overall, top 3 MK bosses. 8/10 MKA Blaze: Not as interesting as Onaga or the Deadly Alliance, a bit of a pushover boss fight. Came out of left field, and borrowed Onaga's death animation so also a bit of a lazy boss. Blaze was never a terribly interesting character, so buffing him up didn't really do much for him. 4/10 MKvsDC Dark Kahn: Lazier Blaze, hard but not fun to fight. His death animation being the same as Blaze but inflating was hilarious. Very forgettable. 2/10 MK9 Shao Kahn: Pretty good recreation of the original, but without most of the surprise factor of the old times. Great adaptation, but most of his blunders and constant failures in story mode didn't really paint him in a good light. Still a hard boss, but easier to figure out than the original. 8/10 MKX Shinnok: Massive upgrade over the original. A lot better designed and introduced. And his boss fight is now unique as Corrupted Shinnok, providing a lot more memorable elements to remember him. 8/10 MK11 Kronika: Incredibly underwhelming, specially for a deity with such control over time. Her presence in story mode didn't do her much favor with how strange her plans were and how incompetent she seemed, and the proper boss fight while having nice visuals came out as a bit boring due to her unique design and the fact certain moves didn't work on her. 3/10 MK11A Shang Tsung: Wonderful. MK4 = Shinnok's Face Stretch out, leaving his mutilated head, as he Plummet to Fiery Netherrealm Portal. 5. MKDA = Quan Chi and Shang Tsung got their soul sucked into the Soulnado. 6. MKD = Onaga engulf in Flame as the screen Blackened, before explode leaving his head behind. 7. MKA = Blaze's Explode after engulf in Flame, leaving behind his chunks of Blood and Lava. 8. MKVSDCU = Dark Kahn Inflate before Explode, leaving behind a Pool of Lava. 9. MK2011 = Shao Kahn got beaten Painfully by the Kombatants as his body burst in Light before explode. 10. MKX = Kombatants ripped the amulet from Corrupted Shinnok's body as he falls into the ground, bereft of power before being slammed by a blast of purified energy. He is then lifted into the air, as the energy building up until he explodes into pieces. 11. MK11 = Kombatants punch Kronika toward Hourglass, than the Hourglass shattered as the pieces cut both Kronika's Torso and arm. As she attempt to reach her Crown, a Glass Pieces slice her Head and she got sucked into the Hourglass that repairing itself and erase her from History. Leaving her Crown Behind. 12. MK1 : The Kombatant alongside the Kameo Fighter beating and uppercut Titan Shang Tsung and Titan Quan Chi as they fall into the Pit of Soulnado and died. Causing the Soulnado to explode.
