You have a lovely home. Your pup is adorable. The red was an excellent choice. A splash of color is always a good idea, in my opinion. I went to a friend's house and she is working on farmhouse decor and EVERYTHING is white. She found some white plates with green ivy trim and the ivy is not small, it's a 50s look and she has them in her open buffet. Anyway you walk in and the first thing your eye goes to is the plates. She has an open concept home so throughout the first floor, which is living room, dining room and kitchen those plates really call attention to themselves. That finally brought her around to how washed out it looked with everything being white. And I love shopping with her now. I also shared this video with her. Again, lovely home and precious puppy dog. Stay well and God bless you and yours .

I love the red. I noticed the traditional red and green vintage look is making a comeback for the season. Truth be told as a vintage southern gal i never really ventured from it. Love the tree in the living room. The lighted pitcher in the shelf is a really nice treat as i have never seen that before. You and i share a love for oil lamps. Layered rug looks nice. Antique armoir is gorgeous!!! I love the log iron piece in front of your fireplace. The plates on the table add a nice victorian touch as i love Victorian. The desk has been preserved very well. Reminds me of warm winter memories of childhood during the snow. Nice job

I,too,dabbled with red elements this year for my home Christmas decorating. I couldn't be happier with the results! A huge green Christmas tree with red berries,pinecones, faux snow,red,white and gold ornaments galore. I added red magnolias all throughout the tree and lots of antiques and old fashioned ornaments this year, an old timey Christmas!! We did old fashioned antiques Christmas all throughout our home !!! This is the second time I have visited your home. I enjoyed the first time. It is lovely and now with the all the Christmas things. It is so cozy. I noticed you didn't have a TV. I love the back porch. it is charming. You do get snow. Well we have had it more than once here in Iowa, USA. It is early but the whole year has been strange. Maybe the snow will wipe away the germs. We have been lucky so far. My Uncle did die of it last week. He was in a Home and should have died from something else. We just put one foot in front of the other.Thank you for the tour. Joyce
