Thank you for a great, thorough review on the Bandit!

I just got this pack as well. I can agree with all the zippers being located up top as a negative, but I love everything else about this pack. Now granted I haven't tried to carry my saddle and stick gear with it, and I can see it would have to be a minimalistic setup, which is why I purchased this pack. So far I've only carried it scouting and a couple hunting trips with my Waldrop Pac Seat, and it works flawlessly. I've accepted the fact I may not be able to make it work with my saddle set up, but from my experience nothing is flawless. Just have to piece together what works.

If the Bandit is to small for your Saddle set up, take a look at our Renegade or X2 packs!

I use mine for early season where layers aren't required and I have very little with me. Mid to late season the X2 is my go to. It's got all the options you're looking for.

Have you seen the elk pack that looks like the x2 but can be removed from the frame? I wonder if that would be worth it, over the x2, to keep the weight as close to your body as possible.
I had an x2 and sold it to get a pop up 30. Kinda regret it, but like the pop up meat shelf feature, and it feels so nice.

That backpack is made for outdoors /hiking or edc. Not made for bow and arrow .

I have this bag too and it’s too small to fit my late season coat and pants in on my .75 and too small to hold my Ambush platform and sticks for early season. I thought I’d use it for putting out cameras but you really can’t get a ton of cameras in it. It’s basically just a scouting bag for me now. Also I’ve been in the army 20 years and if you’re right and if Molle isn’t pronounced Molly and you’re saying it right then my minds about to be blown.

I am with u on cams you need more inside room for sure
I like it for my cold world or .75 but have to strap layers over the bag

I would look at our Renegade or X2 pack for platform carry!

I need a bag to carry by bow while a ride my ebike. Plus use it as my Treestand pack.
Would this pack carry a bow safely??
Glad to see a run and gun guy do this pack for review. It resembles the fas pack imo.

      No

No think there are way better options

    • @Eberlestock

There are some bigger options better suited for bow carry. Adding our Butt Bucket attachment to the bottom of the renegade or X2 pack is the most popular set up for saddle hunting and packing in a bow!

You have to cut it some slack. You know it wasn’t made for hunting I think the design is geared towards EDC bag. It seems like I could use that flap for a tethered platform and cinch it down easy???

  • @seabass22

Get some cinch straps and use the molle loops on each side to run a couple straps across it.

@@thewhitetailexperience6055 I’ve been looking at the pack for a week at least 😂
Just can’t pull the trigger on it. How many layers can the inside hold? That’s my main thing, is finding something to pack my jacket and insulated pants to the stand and 2-3 dr peppers 😂😂

Random question: could you packout a kill with this bag? I received one as a gift last year as a day hike bag and looking to get into hunting (axis deer maybe turkey)

    • @thewhitetailexperience6055
      @thewhitetailexperience6055  หลายเดือนก่อน

It’s pretty small and no real frame
Maybe a doe quarter inside. But not ideal

      Tan I believe

Eberlestock doesn't have 'tan'. It looks to be Coyote, but may also be their Dry Earth

The bag is obviously made for go home bag. Not made for anything like archer bag.
