The footage just kept going and going today. Great to relax & watch on a tv. Hope you all enjoy the episode and hanging out with us on the farm and thanks for all your support as we continue to grow the channel 🙏 😊
Yes! A nice long episode, woohoo. 😊
Hi Chad yes awesome longer video, got to watch while quilting❤
I screamed so load. You finally named the rooster. You named him Freddie M. Too. Oh what a glorious day. Xx
🤣
I’ve been trying to sell the other roo for months now so I finally caved and just gave him away. So now Freddy’s our guy.
It’s really nice to see all animals in action again. Turkeys seemed to enjoy the freedom and sticking together too!
yes the turkeys do enjoy it. Every day now they're waiting by their door to come out just like the geese.
Thank you for that beautiful video. The ducks look sooo happy in their little pond 🩷😍
Good evening Chad. I got home from the office today and I rushed to start today's video. Oh what a treat this is. I surely missed seeing the animals. You got a rooster on steroids. Lol! Thar Goose is gorgeous! Your farm is indeed a place of tranquility. What a way to relax after a long work day. Thank you for your hard work in putting out a (long in this case) video. ❤
Enjoying my day off politics break! Love your channel! ❤
Nice!
Hear hear! Politics is exhausting! Love this channel!
I just love watching you with all your farm animals. You are so kind and gentle to them.😊
Awesome, so glad 😀
Yep…. This one went on the tv…. :) Mango still won’t let you put a collar on him lol… I love how you still call the quads "goslings" even though they are practically fully grown… that one is most definitely a female… she's vey pretty and obviously has grown quite attached to you….
Those little "worm like things" coming down from your trees are winter moth caterpillars….
I think your interaction with all the animals is amazing. Love all your videos, especially the ones about the animals.
Glad you like them!
Good morning ☀️,I love all your videos.I watch them over and over again. You take good care of all your animals on the farm.
Good morning!
❤ My favorite mornings ❤
YES!!! 👏
wake up yall! uncle chad put out an hour long farm video
I'm loving this channel, and I just came here.
Love the long farm vlogs! A great day for it. Thanks Chad.
Much love to you, my darling, and all of the wonderful animals. Watching your videos brings me such joy Chad, thank you. Love you all ❤
Can’t thank you enough, you’re the best ❤️
So beautiful and relaxing. The sounds, the colors and interaction are peaceful and organic. Just what I need to balance out life in the USA right now. Thank you!
Wonderful!
I just love all the animals! That black and spotted roaster was my granny's favorite. It's neat where you can pet the duck. The cats look so healthy and happy. Thank you and your wife for a wonderful home for them all. ❤❤😊
I’ve never been able to pet a duck, doesn’t matter how nice I am. The one I pet in the video is a female goose and she seems to walk over to me asking for pets.
Cats will be cats! They just love high places.
Greetings from Colorado. I love when I see your kitties walking around with their tails straight in the air. That is a sign They are content and happy. What are your plans with Bubbles?. Do you ever plan to let her out? She is such an adorable little girl. Makes me sad. She stays so cooped up. I know you’re keeping her safe, and I commend you for that I just think she would like to be outside with her siblings and family. Wish I could come over and let her know she is loved. All kittens need is food, a home and love 💖. Love your channel ❤❤❤
Here in East Tennessee we have the “turkey parade” every morning 😂. Early every morning a troop of turkeys and their young ones parade up the hill out of the pastors and wooden and march past our porch, around the house and into the woods on the other side of the house. Sooooo fun 😍
A group of turkeys is a flock..a group of monkeys is a troop
The internet says a group of wild turkeys is a flock, but a group of domesticated turkeys is a rafter. Funny hunh I never knew that 😁
That’s very cool 🦃
@@kimodeutschmann5237 here it is a troupe
I'm from INDIA and i love to see your videos and also the way you treat all your animals
Glad to hear it 👋
Yes, she is a girl!, so keep the nicest gander.
That’s what I hope to do, last year I messed it up and kept two boys and they were super aggressive, this years hatch I bonded with them more so I hope it works out.
Love seeing your farm.
Thank you for your videos, they are relaxing to watch. Chad you’re really good with the farm. You are like a natural born farmer. You are really a kind person. I love you.❤❤❤
Awesome to hear and yes, I love what I’m doing 👨🌾
Good morning Fozzy❣️😍 I LOVE Fozzy😻
Your farm is a wonderful sanctuary for all of these beautiful animals
@@andresdelcampo6733 😁
I'm sure you get plenty of people telling you what you should do, but my wife and I were discussing that by shaking your Temptations treats, it might make getting Tango's attention easier. Love your content!
yeah been there, done that. It seemed to have worked a few times but 95% doesn't work with our cats. Maybe it's cause I didn't train them to it when they were young but I think their freedom is more valuable to them than some snacks. She comes in on her own time as you can see lol.
The Animals are looking good. 😊 You keep rockn the Leafs Cap too....Be prepared for a let down...lol
@@G.I.N.N they gotta win at least once in my lifetime 🤞
Enjoyed the episode. I've never seen a gas powered post driver before - that was interesting. Hope those turkeys don't decide to take to the air once they get bored with their new yard...they might try to join your wild flock.
It's the Fozzinator!!❤
What an enjoyable day with you on the farm.😊
Glad you liked it 👏
Great video today. Love seeing yhe animals happy.xx😅
@@hazelsmith2 Awesome 👏
This was a wonderful video. I could watch you all day. That machine to help hammer in fence poles was the bomb. Just a great day on the farm. God bless!!
@@milliealford8968 awesome, glad to hear it
I love watching your videos you do a great job the cats are the best for me and I also like your building projects just love it from England 🇬🇧
Awesome! Thank you!
Good day, Chad. Once again, I loved the vlog.
The rabbits love to chew. My experience with 🐇 a long time ago, is they chew, and it keeps their teeth filed down.
As for the caterpillars, her in eastern Ontario, we call them tent worms,, thats what dad told me. As soon as i see a branch in the tree with them, i cut and burn it right away. Unfortunately, you have so many trees it is hard to control.
OH ASIAN pears, i would love to grow them here.
Well, enough of a book for you to read.
Love to all your farm animals, the cats, Olive, your Darlin, and of course you.
Till the next one.. Keep on keeping on
Always a pleasure watching you and your farm ❤❤😊😊
So nice of you
To find out what type of worm that is,go to Google search, take a picture of the worm and it will tell you what they are. Then you can search how to get rid of them.
I think the blue eyed geese is beautiful. I didn't know they had blue eyes. I believe with the love you are showing the geese they will come around.
Love to you and Rhemy, have a blessed day.
I’ll try that later, somebody said it’s a webworm. Google should know you’re right.
Chad great video 🤗 Fozzie picking up the pace😂 You told the geese "this isn’t a prison yard, its a duck yard"😂 There was alot animal wrangling...like kids in a school yard❤
FOZZY! ❤
Fozie is the foreman
AN HOUR OMBGGGF chad I fall asleep to your videos very day this is such a game changer
It is an interesting video whaching almost a full day. A lot of work and olive knows where is the toy
@@JH-ml5cp lotsa fun eh 🤩
Geese need go to pond to swim...but they try get in the water pan! ❤ Where they and chickens drink from.
They do like a pond but it’s not needed. The four geese up in the orchard haven’t gone in the pond in several months (their choice) don’t forget I won’t be keeping all of the four, only hope to keep a breeding pair.
I found so relaxing to watch your animal farm the way you interact with them so amazing! They are to used to your call Tulog ka na!!!lol 😅
@@vilmamagtulis9880 yeah they’re getting trained pretty well, lots of fun.
You have a nice farm, thanks for sharing🌻🌻🌻
So nice of you
Your videos are awesome 😊
Nice job, turkeys! There at the end they were afraid… maybe treats to train them? When turkeys are afraid, they start to turn blue. 😅
loved the longer format
Good morning friend 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good morning
I love you telling the geese and ducks to go to sleep "tulugan na" 😊
Yeah that’s a fun part 🤩
❤🥰
To be honest I dont see the cats go very far they all seem to stay near you because they love your cuddles
That’s how I manage to film them, after I get all this early footage I only see them on and off throughout the day.
Great episode
🙏
That was fun! 😁
It was a great day.
In my experience, rabbits 🐇 do well with pine shavings. Makes it easier to sweep up. Timothy hay and pine chips make rabbits very happy and it looks nice. I change it every couple months or so. Nice in the compost.
What about wood chips? Anything would be better than straw that stuff takes forever to compost.
@@HiddenSpringFarm wood chips would be as good as pine shavings and if you mix it with Timothy hay…they eat that and it smells nice for them. They will chew on it too. Rabbits teeth never stop growing so they need to chew to keep the teeth in check. Avoid wood dust like fine sawdust. Bad for the respiratory system. The wood breaks down and heats up the animal waste in the compost. Gives it a nice balance.
Love your videos but you need to scrub the black water containers for the geese.
Even the wild birds love your farm! Nice!
True lots of wildlife here cause we abut the Simcoe County Forest.
Eating grass helps with digestion . Helps with fur balls. 👍
Yeah they eat some pretty well everyday
A mason jar funnel might have been just as good to fill your feeders... unless your pipes are smaller.
Peaceful tranquility? Chad who are you kidding? You work your ass off. 😂
Haha peaceful for you viewers 😂
I don't know why people are slow to adopt black cats, because I think they are gorgeous. 😻
Superstitions probably. I’ve had two black cats, Stormy (rip) and Dexter and treat are the coolest cats of the crew.
@@HiddenSpringFarm I actually think they bring good luck! That's what I'm hoping anyhoo. 🤞
As do I. I adopted my Al 4 years ago with his sister Freddie (she's grey). I love black cats their personalities are the best!
Dexter and Bubbles are awesome! Have you ever considered taking Bubbles out of the Catio and into your home? Being that Bubbles is already an "indoor cat".
@@JeffreyMello I did have Bubbles in our house for a few months, it was kind of a disaster. She basically hid the entire time and cryed. Plus she went washroom anywhere she wanted and on the sofas even though we had 3 litter boxes. I tried retraining her with Chewie in the barn and Chewie came around and was doing good so I let him free and was so close to putting him back in the cat house when he disappeared (assume a predator got him) so after that I took Bubbles home and then after a few months back to the cat house. I spent every evening sitting there trying to get her to come out. It's in one of the episodes some where but I ended up just bring her back with her family.
this is just an idea, but all your RIR hens with good tails in BIG REDS pen and put him back in the main coop with the rough hens and see what happens. You may have to sell those picking hens. Just an idea mate!
Definitely, but I probably won’t go thru the effort of trying to sell them though…I’ll go another route.
44th minute, goes ahead to give the chickens feed for later and they go straight ahead to eat it right away
😅😅
Was Olive trying to keep the geese separate from the turkeys? lol. I hope those turkeys don't decide to jump over the fence and join up with the wild turkey family 😂😂 Won't it be a good idea to get another indoor kitten to keep Bubbles company during the day? Not to mention maybe time for a new doggie sibling for Olive.
Shop vac from a garage or yard sale or an estate sale to clean up rabbit droppings.
I have a shop vac and I have used it but after I suck up so much soil it’s a pain to sift it and put it back.
♥
Chad, they are called fall webworms. They can destroy fruit trees. Keep an eye on it. ❤
Webworms eh, I’ll keep watch and inspect the orchard when I can. Cheers.
❤😊
Eating grass helps your cats get rid of their hair balls. Grass is a vaumitive. Your cats have good instinct.
@@colly1952 cool
Maybe the wild turkeys want to join your farm
🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃
Yeah maybe, they’re always around now pretty well everyday 🦃
Do you have favorite music chad
😂 this isn't the prison yard!
I do know that too many carbs, like bread products are not good for birds or ducks. They can get Angel Wings. Could that also happen with chickens, roosters and turkeys?
Love your long videos.
This is Friday, have a restful weekend.
❤👋🇨🇦👍
@@donnanorman340 I don’t think it is, it’s just when we have uneaten bread. Plus I never give the water fowl any bread cause it’s not good for ducks or geese. I’ve given some to the turkeys but they didn’t eat it. Angel wing can happen due all sorts of reasons like if you’re giving them a high sugar diet. Ours might get a bit of bread once a week at most. I do think it can happen to any of the birds and most times it corrects itself.
@@HiddenSpringFarm thanks for sharing 👍
Have you ever thought of throwing the cong in a different direction from where Olive runs?
yes I've done that before and she loses it. We just found a kong that was lost 2 years ago. If she doesn't see it or hear it, it's easy to lose and I mow over it.
I would suggest you check with your department of agriculture and see if they can identify the type of worm you are dealing with. They may be noninvasive or they may be bad for your farm.
Yeah I’ll be figuring it out soon so I know to act or not.
You still need a donkey, a goat, a bull, a sheep and honey bees to complete the farm 😀😀
Give me some time, where would I put them all? All in due time, we’ll get there 😉
@@HiddenSpringFarm
😃👍
I think there is a gizo used by hand to get poles out of the ground. With all the fense work you do may pay off the get one
Yes there is, I can also use a farm Jack which I have. If I couldn’t get them out that’s what I would have used.
Any cider mills in your local?????????? Raw stuff, not pasteurized and filtered.
From the looks of the breeds you have ;i'm new so i dont know what they are for sure, 1 drake to every 4 to 5 hens is a good average. Indian Runners i would add 1 hen and heavy breeds i would subtract a hen.
Better get a move on ALL your building projects, winter will be here soon for you. When will you shut down the pool? First freeze? Let us know when you get your first freeze, probably in a few weeks at night.
These bugs might be harmful to your trees. I would ask a tree specialist about it.
Like two street gangs trying to gain the turf. Turkey gang and Goose gang. Who will come out on top.
Haha a turf war in the bird yard
Is it possible to keep a horse free range in a spacious homestead?
I'm not 100% sure but I'd guess they could just wonder off. I've never seen them free, always within a fenced area.
do you think the goose hen thinks you’re her mate??? i heard geese can get attached to ppl that way
I hope so, then she’ll always be nice to me. I worked hard with these geese to bond with them since they hatched so hopefully they won’t get nasty.
I dont think the artificial turf would be a good idea, what would happen when the rabbits eat the turf and get plastic in their bodies
@@rainbowchance4029 I don’t know, I’ve seen others do it and it seemed nice.
You known your bunnies best@@HiddenSpringFarm
@@rainbowchance4029 they chew the wood but I don’t think they eat it, hopefully it would be the same. I’m not sure though.
What does tulugenaw mean?
@@kikikaakau-delizo8152 Tulugan Na means Go to bed in Tagalog (Filipino)
Is Tango possibly a female? If so she may be coming into heat.
Tango is a girl and usually whines a lot when she’s in heat.
They are bad worms and they slowly destroy trees. They’re terrible!
Bag worms…., not bad
Oh no, will it be one a bigger problem? Any idea how to deal with them?
If you have a wet nose on your BUM, you'd move too. 😅👍❤
Haha exactly 😂
I kept all my ducks, geese and turkeys in the same 1 room building. Only 1 duck didn't like it if a turkey got to close and she would shake here head at it!
