Best video!! I’ve been searching on how to clean the plastic part where the roller is. You are the ONLY person who showed how to do this. Thank you!
Omg thank you this is the best video I’ve found to help me learn how to get these pieces apart and clean them! Mine didn’t really come with any kind of guide or manuel so thank you!
Cheers for the video.. mine is 2weeks old and I had a blockage. You solved my problem thank you very much🇦🇺
What about the wheels on either side? I see yours are clean but mine are surrounded by hair
Did you find a solution? I’m watching the video specifically for that reason.
Brilliant
Where your thumb is, at exactly 6:46, I find fluff collects in the black groove at the end of the motor column. I can get the nearest stuff out with the brush but not the fluff inside around the back. The brush can’t reach it. I think I will try a smaller brush tomorrow or try to hook it out with a bent paperclip. 🤔
You can remove the plastic end on the laser head rather than trying to get in there behind it. It just pulls off
Mine has hair stuck in the metal mesh. It's really annoying
9:29 Ahh damn never struck me it was that easy, other videos remove every screw on the whole thing!
Hi Paul, thanks for the video. Can you please do a video on how to remove the rear castors on the v15 detect head? Mine are all gummed up with pet hair and I’m having a tough time removing them.
That shouldn’t happen. I would ring Dyson with your guarantee handy and they will send you a new head I’m sure .
Hi did you have any success with Dyson replacing the head? We have the same problem the cat and dog hair stops them rotating.
So on the big anti tangle head when I use the coin and twist it off the brush isn’t coming out and I can’t get it off, I’m going insane trying to get it out 😭😭
It should just slide off easily . I’m sorry I never heard of that problem before
When I try to unscrew anti tangle comb with the coin, only that round plastic comes out without the brush...the brush seems fixated...what am I doing wrong? I have v15 absolute
@@PUNISH3R21 @mgtracey I have the exact same issue as you. Only the round plastic top come off. The brush bar (or comb whatever you call it) is stuck spinning inside. I tried pulling it really hard as well and it's not coming off...
Did you find a way out to solve It? I have the same issue @@PUNISH3R21
How to clean and reattach the red seal inside the drum? Great video by the way.
Is there no way to remove the area that covers? I have a terrible buildup that I need to apply more pressure. I did get into some water. Small amount, but also have four dogs. Lots of hair in the upper portion.
@@mgtracey I removed the internal part of cleaner head. The part I turn with quarter. The internal part stays. How in the world do I get stuck on dirt clean if the plastic covers that head??
I vacuumed my wet carpet so my carpet head attachment is ruined with wet dirt. So im not sure how im going to clean it up.
Follow the video steps to remove as many pieces as possible, leave them to dry then reassemble and try. Paul
My vacuum gets extremely dirty compared to this lol all these cleaning videos do not suffer the wrath of dirt my dogs and house brings 😂.
What would you suggest for the aluminum mesh filter on the inside of the container in the vacuum ?
You have to be very careful with that as its so delicate. I take my one outside and gentle blow through it without marking it. Paul
@@mgtracey first I would like to thank you for responding. It is really appreciated.
do you think a servicing company would be able to remove it and clean that component or do you think there may not anything they could do to really clean it?
The Anti-Tangle head for my vacuum does not unscrew easily with a quarter and I cannot take mine apart
I use the smaller end (single serving) of a metal spaghetti measurer to unlock mine. You know, whatever comes to hand.
I'm having same issue, can't get the coin to twist brush off, it looks so easy when I watched the video, wtf????
Try two coins together or end of a spoon. Double check you are twisting the correct direction!
You want to make life easy? Buy an air compressor.
You saved me 89 EUR when I thought I needed to get a new fuzzy optic head! A quick clean and a little neutral soap and it was all good and looks like new! You're amazing :)
Glad I could help!
