The annual Machine Contest at Pius X - involving students in the AP Physics (PACE) and Accelerated Physics classes - featured six machines built over multiple weeks, with planning lasting more than two months.
Winners are:
1st Place: Big Macs (Theme: McDonalds) - Ryan Aschoff, Trenton Deeds, George Kane, Jack Schafers
2nd Place and Judges’ Choice: Krusty Krab Crew (Theme: SpongeBob) -Noah Cao, Ava Carr, Dan Vo
3rd Place: The Directors (Theme: Movies) - Maria Butler, Amanda Gutierrez, Katie Schmit
