Quick question is it possible to run the amp academy through the fx loop of my boss GX-100, and can I control it like you did with the ampero midi switch gx has dedicated midi in and out. My last question what's the best midi host to get when working with amp academy
HELP!!!!!! Just purchased the Amp Academy as the start of a backup pedalboard. For the life of me, I cannot get the software to connect to the computer. I have tried several cables with no success. I have tried several boot-up sequences with no success. The unit itself really sounds great but I really need to be able to access the software editor. I reached out to Nux and their response was incredibly questionable (they said I need to download the firmware update but how can I do that if the computer does not recognize the unit). I reached out to American Musical Supply twice with no response. I really don't want to send the unit back because I really do like it. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.
Hi. Couple of questions. 1. What is the platform you’re using? Mac or windows? 2. Are you plugging the pedal into a usb hub? If so, don’t. Please try the port directly on your computer. 3. Is there another computer you can use? Let me know and I’ll see what else we can do to help
@@ThePedalGuy I am using Windows. I am plugging straight into the laptop. Then I tried my main desktop computer with the same results. I am sure that its on my end since all the videos I watched never mentioned any issues with connectivity. I will try it again tomorrow after church and see if there is anything else I am missing. Thanks for the quick response. I am sure this will resolve. I really love the unit.
You can have 2 scenes or 3 scenes. All you need to do is use the Amp Academy editor on Mac/PC or iOS/Android. Select the Gear icon, and set it to "S3 Disengage" to turn off Scene 3.
Hi! Are all blocks available (ON) by default for every scene? If no, what if I turn the NR/boost/reverb knob? Do these fx/blocks stay off? What about the Send and return block? If it's turned off by default and I connect a pedal without using the editor, will it stay bypassed? Thanks!
My biggest question is how can I control it via MIDI and via the app at the same time with only one USBC port.

The Cerberus sends only PC messages.

One item I left off...my laptop/desktop does have the software but the software is showing that the unit is not connected.
I want to know if it can decrease or add Scene, if so, what are the steps? I want to reduce it to only 2 scenes in some presets.
