What is The Meisner Technique: Advanced?

Most Meisner courses begin and end with The Repetition Exercise. But this is an idea introduced at the beginning of first year. The formal 2-year training consists of much more than just repetition.
We HIGHLY recommend finding a qualified teacher to take you through 2nd year, as many of the exercises require nuance to ensure that actors are being careful.

I am curious on what your opinion is about Practical Aesthetics from Mamet. They basically took aspects of meisner and made it action based. Issue is there are some teachers who are saying they "teach" meisner but then teach Practical aesthetics instead. Which adds to confusion and muddles what is true or not. I am glad you are keepings Sandy's teachings alive because a lot of people are mixing and matching and calling it meisner's work when its not. Stanislavski's system got muddled as well because everyone has their own version of it. Same with everyone else's teachings.
