I just barely missed one of these. My friend's dad had a massive collection and had three 1976 convertible, one bicentennial with 800 miles. I was lucky and purchased the one with 9988 original miles so I am happy.

Those rubber bumper insets were gray from the factory, they were not black,, that rubber in the bumper looks great. That is a great car , I am truly impressed it has survived in this excellent condition! The driver door does need adjusting,, with a possible added shim on the bottom hinge . Now the dash pad does look like it has had some crack repair . That driver seat control could be re-affixed. That is a beautiful car !

I like the car however , I’m not too crazy about the red seat piping seems a tad low rent.

These cars were pure crap when they were new. I cannot imagine how horrible they must be now that they are 45 years old. Poor fit, poor performance, poor mileage, poor quality, and the Avant-garde of poor engineering.
