I'm an older Dominos driver (30) and I can vouch... work it full-time, closing shifts as much as possible (PM and late-night rush within those 8-9 hours) and find one in a good area with non-shitty hotels = You can make 35-45k easy. Taking home $100 - 150 in cash tips after every close and that's not counting what you're getting on your paycheck for that day (around 90 bucks). And it's chill as hell if you have a smart/good GM at that particular store. Pretty shitty job if your GM is incompetent. Oh and all the free Dominos food you can handle (cut my monthly grocery bill in half). Didn't expect this comment on this song so I had to reply!

I will forever play this song in my ride.
Was never really into rap, but this song goes hard AF. You can't NOT like this song.
My buddy said the same thing until he found his love for Houston rap back in highschool. A lot of heavy spitters and the BEATS….shiiii
Who asked ?
It also transcends racial lines

"I hit the highway, Making money the fly way, But there's gotta be a better way!"
That last line hits you much harder as an adult
Everytime I hear that line "I hit the highway, making money the fly way". Just reminds me of doing delivery driving for pizza parlors. That tip money is some crazy ass shit. It's insane how much money you can make.
@ ❤ Amen for tips! I will always tip people.

Plus if cash tips then no tax
Or rolling up on a hit and collecting dues at the end if the night.
From 95 -99,was my Era that time and music was the best time of my life, coming from Waco, TX,
The south killed it with this joint, absolutely crushed it. New York and LA will always do big things for Hip Hop. But Li’l Troy and them struck Hip Hop gold. A timeless and literal classic. “Wanna be a Baller” is the best, it has been for decades now and it can stay right at the top. I don’t see it being beat.
CRUSH THEM AL
NY & LA pales in comparison to the south. Biggie stole his flow and sound from the south
Jaja you funny LA has always been the on top of rap game bettee recognize
Houston has so many underrated classics lol labels jus always stayed in the city
Something so nostalgic about this song. The beat, melody, vocals. Brings me back to better days.
My pops anthem, he had a 20,000 $ sound system in a 8,000 $ car dedicated for this song
Better days and a better way a better way yeaaaaaah
It really does bring back memories
man what a time it was for hip-hop and rap from the 80-90's music today is garbage
Lol I remember when I misheard the lyrics as "Wanna be a Baller, Shawn Call her, 20-Inch Legs, Only a Dolla, Caller get a lazy night, Switched the wrong tire got by ice"
😂😂😂 this is beautiful.
Who NOT here from 2k19? You tha real playas
