I was with these dudes when we all learned how to bowl after we hit the comedy clubs. They ARE all my friends. Very difficult time to navigate. It looked really bad but didn't seem like something that JT would do. JT looked me in the face, at an audition, after all this happened and promised me he didn't do this. That was enough for me. Kev is my guy. I have a comedy special under his brand and I work as a TV producer on his LOL network. I don't know how it got to this but I wish it didn't go down and me, KEV, JT and Correy Holcomb could meet at the bowling alley and argue it out (which would be hilarious!). Love these dudes SMH

Man JT is a great guy! I met him when we did the movie Note to self in 2012! It was my first Hollywood movie up till that point. I was all stage plays and what not before that. And dude was down to earth, gave me game and the whole nine! It shocked me when I heard the story about what happened with Kevin. Kevin generally seems a little full of himself, so I can imagine this happening if Kevin was caught in a lie and needed a scapegoat. JT made a good point: Charlamagne went and gave him Donkey Of The Day without knowing all the details, making him out to be guilty of something based on hearsay. A few days later, Charla was accused of sexual assault. Charla wouldn't want the energy he showed JT, right? No one would. The nature of this accusatory he-said, she-said culture is sickening, and all the people who automatically point fingers at others are, frankly, intellectually challenged. I'm pretty sick of it. I've been on JT's page for a long, long time. I wish him a lot of luck, because he has an uphill battle. In this cultural climate, the most popular accuser dominates the moral compass. The accusation _never_ needs to be rooted in fact. The one accused can't ever see retribution even if the accuser admits their accusations were wrong. The crowd wants an enemy.

Friendships that are unequal in financial terms are precarious. I have a friend who is loaded. She calls me from time to time to go visit. She always insists on going to more upscale restaurants which I cannot,afford, and she NEVER EVER picks up the bill. She always makes us split it. In half, and I’m the one who pays the most with my one item and a bottle of water. She gets a half carafe of wine and three courses. I’ve knocked it on the head now, don’t answer her afternoon calls when I know she wants company to eat. So one day in my home I speak on it to her. I explain how my finances just cannot stretch to dumping eighty dollars for this restaurant every time we go. She says condescendingly that I should aspire to eat in better places, and that you are paying for the good food and hygiene. So I said from now on I will only pay for what I eat, not half of yours. So we haven’t been out for over a year now.
It is so great to see a black man getting good representation against a wealthy man especially when the case screams NOT GUILTY
So sad to hear this but much credit to JT, his wife and lawyer. Things like this happen for exposure. Life has a way of showing us things we need to see because the places we are going we don't need dead weight. After hearing what has actually happened, I'm guessing that Kevin has felt threatened by JT (his height, talent, goodness, relationship, etc.) for the entire time. This guy has been trying to make it in the entertainment industry for a long time, even incorporating his service to his country, into his decade long plan. He's very humble about his talent and I question if Kevin ever really tried to help him.
