And what if I have S34 diode and ingoing current is 18V DC, but outgoing is 6-7V DC. Is that diode need to be replaced? P.s. great explanation video - learned lot from your videos

SMD diodes can be calibrated to support higher output, and doesn’t burn away, functions normally. I fixed a solar power bank this way, the solar charging didn’t work, the protection was a diode at the panel side. After many retries, it could reach higher charge rate. So, my opinion is, diodes operate at a range, and they can be programmed to higher output if desired.

Using the reference designator marked on the motherboard,
D for diode
Q for transistor.

Aren't there certain diodes that don't read 7 on the multimeter? I thought zener diodes or some other one normally had a lower reading?
