23yrs old dang I was thinking 28-30 glad to see younger guys being smart you rode your ride nothing stupid.. I am looking finally at getting a bike 10 years me and my wife been dreaming and next year finances for 2 bikes are here and my wife had cancer at 32 and beat it so she's like it's time now (she thought she was gonna lose an eye)
If you're nervous or a little scared, that's good, and keeping that little fear or scare keeps you alive. It's when you ride with no fear, you should be scared.
Took the msf a few months ago, got my first bike a few weeks ago. The feeling is incredible. To all of you starting out, stay safe, be smart, and have fun!
I just turned 23 and I just bought my first motorcycle, I got the Yamaha r7. Was worth every penny. Huge relief if you’re going through some tough times just hop on your bike and ride.
We did it!! I love that. Small pointer that I learned early, pull the clutch with your index and middle fingers only. Leave other fingers wrapped around the bar at all times for proper control. Try it and you'll never go back. We did it!! Man I'm happy with you
Ride safe bro I’m turning 31 learned a few years ago on a grom still haven’t gotten a big boy bike yet but I live in Rhode Island so the groms going to be my first purchase ahah ✊🏽
I've watched a couple of these videos now, and all of them have this moment where the rider realizes how much fun riding is, despite being nervous about their first ride. It's incredible
You are going to have so much fun on this bike once you become comfortable on it. Its amazing in the twisties and it's just a lot more capable than some people give it credit for. Stay safe and enjoy brother!
Its nice to see more riders on the R3. Im following you man cause i want to see you grow, but also because im a huge fan of the r3 and im getting an r3 in 2025
Just got my first bike as well! Kudos to you to be able take it to the road right from the get go. I was still practicing in the parking lot for the first week
I’m 17 rn hopefully I’ll have enough money a lil after I’m 18 to buy a bike soon. Now I can’t wait after seeing your excitement it for sure just inspired me more 😂
Hearing you so happy about your bike and your first ride with it makes me even more exited about getting my first bike, its 200cc and its not a cool brand like Yamaha or Kawasaki since there's not a lot of those in my country and the few you can find are really expensive but it looks cool and I'm very exited about getting it! :D
I've been thinking about getting a bike for a few years now. I didn't dare get one when I was younger because I love speed way to much and being on 2 wheels vs 4 is definitely a lot more dangerous. Now that I'm in my 40s and finally chilled out some, I think I'm going to get one. I've ridden dirt bikes but never anything on the highway. Watching your video definitely lot a spark in me to get one.
I just started riding as well got my first bike went thru the msf course on it and loving it. I'm starting on a KTM 2023 RC 390 It's a fun bike to learn on just seeing this video reminded me of my first ride. I can feel the excitement in his voice. I'm still learning to edit filmed quite a bit so far but was having mix issues finally got those fixed but it's gonna be a fun summer.
i'm only 20 and i've started looking into riding... it's such a dream to be able to do this. i've also been looking at the yamaha r3. when i have time and money i'm definitely doing this haha
The only thing that made me anxious is that at the stop lights, even with your green lights it didn't look like the camera twitched for you to double check no one was running it. But so happy for you man!
so happy to see you got a r3 and not a r6. Good job on the ride my man. It's so crazy when you start riding and you think you are gong like 40 but really its like 25mph. Everything seem so fast on bike at first
Just turned 21 and bought my first bike my dad rode bikes since he was 12 now im teaching my older brothers how to ride so hopefully one day we all can ride together
never ridden a motorcycle before only a 125cc dirtbike, and picked up my ninja 300 on thursday and rode it all the way home about a hour, hopped on that thing and instantly knew how to ride 🙂
I'm glad I waited until I was older to get a bike. Had to get all the "speed racer" out of me first! Just forget all the flying shit and you'll be good.
Great video Antonio...Get some practice with turns so that you're leaning a little and not risking going out of your lane. The more you ride the less nervous you'll be. Also please get some gear. Even a low speed drop and you'll have some intense road rash with just a flannel shirt on.
Hey man I’m 20 and I’m about to get my first bike I just got my license today. Loved the video couldn’t help but notice we live in the same town once I get my bike we need to meet up and ride sometime!
You'll do great just remember to look through the turns and when doing slow maneuvering the rear brake is your anchor! They will explain it better but these two things help the most in my dumb opinion!
@nofox97 just listen to the instructor and do as they say and you will be fine! For me weather was great the whole time and as we were about to line up for the actual tests it started pouring rain. Even under those conditions the entire class passed. You got this!
I'm right now taking code classes to buy a motorcycle in the future.. I'm currently getting a car license because it's useful for work and so on.. but to start with a 125 it's not bad.. what can you tell me about this model of motorcycle It's a good one to start with because I actually had the idea of buying exactly this one... peace \o/
24:10 You can hose down everything just don't be dumb and spray you control clusters with high pressure jets just in case you get water past the buttons. I wouldn't use any de-greaser or high pressure water jets near the chain and wheel bearings neither just to be safe

Wife & I are just about to take the MSF next month, we're in our mid 30s. I have a feeling I'll be feeling like a grandpa then around the other new riders if thats the case
I'd suggest riding without having the distraction of recording a video at the same time until you are much better. Riding well, especially in traffic needs all of your attention. Remember, there's nowhere soft and nothing soft to hit or land on when you're riding. Best of luck to you.
Did you get insurance right off the bat? I did my msf course and searching for a bike rn but I’m really worried about insurance pricing. I’m also turning 24 this October and insurance pricing has been a killer (I’m in Toronto, CA)
I'm about to get a like 49cc scooter next week and it's my first introduction to riding anything at all (reason is that in nc it's legal to ride a scooter without a license and shit so I'm just free learn and shit which might be dumb, but I need a reason to practice and sitting down to study for my license melts my brain)
Congratulations broh, I picked up a 2021 last week for my youngest son and he loves it, and so do I. So many accessories and parts you can upgrade. My suggestion is getting a R6 throttle tube ($30) and you can thank me later.....lol. and you'll really be happy. Stay safe
The upgrade is actually a throttle tube, a throttle body is a different part. I have mine sitting next to me currently waiting for an mt-03 delivery hahaha, same mod for it as the throw is super long.
I am planning on getting a bike I was hoping to get a R7 or and R3 there isn't many bikers where I'm at and if there is a biker they're mostly guys and mostly horse riders which I am and horse riding is soo similar its crazy

If I was his age riding the bike I have now i probably wouldn’t be alive
"shout out to my mom"
he's a real one for that.
If you're nervous or a little scared, that's good, and keeping that little fear or scare keeps you alive. It's when you ride with no fear, you should be scared.
I can't like this enough, the fear is what keeps you alive. It's a good thing to be scared while riding, keeps you alert and focused.
Took the msf a few months ago, got my first bike a few weeks ago. The feeling is incredible. To all of you starting out, stay safe, be smart, and have fun!

jealous of people that start riding that young. I wish I had the previous 30 years to ride again.
