Until 1949, when the Republic of China lost the civil war, the People’s Republic Of China took over the whole Mainland China including Xinjiang. Note: The land, now what is called “Xinjiang” currently, was actually originally a Buddhism land when the Han Dynasty Colonized it 2000+ years ago, Islam came in the Xinjiang when the Han Dynasty lost Xinjiang from Uzbeks. As a mongolian i know ethnic khalkha mongolians who speak kazakh for living in western mongolia with kazakhs. But im sure they were speaking mongolian tho, not sure which dialect.
Tribal difference. 80% of mongolia is khalkha tribe while in china its mostly chahar and oirat. During qing dynasty now day outer mongolia was governed by khalkha nobles because it was huge and had little population which was almost all nomads so they broke away when qing dynasty collapsed compared to inner mongolia which was ruled directly by qing royals and had many han chinese population. As for xinjiang, it was populated/ruled by the dzungar (oirat branch tribe) mongols but they were wiped out in the dzungar genocide by the khalkha mongols, han chinese and uyghurs backed by qing army. The mongol tribes fought one another for hundreds of years after genghis’s dynasty collapsed making them easy for russia and china to carve up.

Come on, your 3 million people are not enough to fill your teeth. Besides, Mongolia is still Chinese territory in the constitution, but it was forced by the Soviet Union to make Mongolia independent! Mongolia has always been a divided tribe, and there is rarely a unified country like the Han Chinese.
The Mongolians of Bayinbuluke moved to China from the east bank of the Volga River in Russia. In 1771, the Chinese emperor mobilized supplies from the western provinces to rescue them. The best grassland in Xinjiang was given to this foreign nomadic tribe by the Chinese emperor as a permanent territory.
The Mongolian population in Inner Mongolia is several times that of Mongolia. Don't forget that Mongolians have forgotten the Mongolian language, while Mongolians in China still use their own language.
they were once nomadic centuries ago, that was right before they invaded the taklamakan area aka southern Xinjiang, killed, subjugated and eventually assimilated their remaining victim's, just like turks did in Anatolia.
Dzungar Mongols. But this was by the Manchu Emperor Kangxi & Qianlong, along with the Chahar & Khalkha Mongols because the Dzungar Khan invaded and attacked the Khalkha tribes.

During 1950s, the Communists CATEGORIZED Xinjiang as a Autonomous Region. The Land what is called “Xinjiang” is historically part of China.
Note: The land, now what is called “Xinjiang” currently, was actually originally a Buddhism land when the Han Dynasty Colonized it 2000+ years ago, Islam came in the Xinjiang when the Han Dynasty lost Xinjiang from Uzbeks. Even before the Han Dynasty colonized it, the Romans and Persians wanted to colonize it since the land was rich in materials and it was not governed just like Siberia was rich in Fur, but Russia colonized it because it was not really governed by a specific government.
Mongols speak Mongolian, not Uygur
As a mongolian i know ethnic khalkha mongolians who speak kazakh for living in western mongolia with kazakhs. But im sure they were speaking mongolian tho, not sure which dialect.
Wow they still speak in Mongols. They didn't forget our Mongolian language
Background music is from Rise of Nations 😂
👍👍👍
What a minute, is this narrator pronouncing Xinjiang correctly? I thought 'x' in pinyin mandarin makes a different sound.
X kinda sounds like Sie, take my word with a grain of salt though
Atleast do you research properly 😂😂
A CENTER OF FUTURE.
And that’s where The dead leviathan dragon king (from job 41) gets his name.
how did mongolia lose Bayan bulag😭😭 the name is even mongolian and it trranslates into "Rich spring/river"
@@unodos.4557 The other Mongolia is just a satellite town of Russia. Mainly Russian stye building and its people speak mainly Russian instead of Mongolian. So sad.
@@jacku8304ahhaha all of mongolians speaking mongolian
China has taken so much land of other nations'
@@jacku8304It is interesting that a Mongolian tribe moved from the east bank of the Volga River to Xinjiang, China, during the period of Czarist Russia. They obtained the permanent territory designated by the Chinese emperor, and they still retain the Mongolian language and culture.Their Mongolian compatriots on the west bank of the Volga River have forgotten Mongolian and used Russian instead.
Allah bless you all

The language is so similar to Uzbek one
The little Mongolian boy speaks excellent standard Mandarin ( Chinese ) !
Is it just me or did they do intros throughout the whole thing? Geez.
Government so efficient make local poverty cultivation prosperity.
India is not amongst eight countries, as shown in video map, to have any de-facto border with Xinjiang.
because it doesn't.
India was put together by the British thru invasions and sizing various tribes and small countries put together. No India exist before British control. India must thanks the British forever !
Xinjiang is the ancient crossroad of Asia coveted by every player nation from the Land of Rus to the CIA. Staggering history. Well worth doing some research reading.
"...treated with great affection and respect"

The Mongol family at the beginning of the documentary are speaking Mongol. So why do the subtitles say they're speaking Uyghur? Sloppy work from whoever did the subtitles. Also, it's nice to see attention given to the other, lesser known ethnic minorities living in Xinjiang.
Tarim Basin/Ancient Xinjiang are already part of Han Dynasty China in 150BC, the Natives are Tocharians ppls (brown hair, blue eyes)
Mongols & Uighurs actually newcomer nomads from North China/Xiongnu/Huns
@@therminust4 did you even read the comment? Wumao
Anyone knows the root of Uyghur language. It sounds Arabic. The people looked Turkish and Mongolian/Chinese.
Uyghurs are kind mixed. Many people are actually not Uyghurs, but the CCP just registered them as Uyghurs.
it is very easy to search for it and find it out yourself
The wild horse should run free.
They are endangered. The station is a rescue center and breeding center for this special wild horse.
one must ask -who is wild chinese or Uighurs?
When I look at Uighur culture I see civilization:
Why is it secret? It is open to visitations.

The Bayanbulag was Mongolian river and sad to our southern nation living under China. I really want to take back our nation 😢
Full support!
@@yangli8147 be patient. The TFR differential all but assured Mongolia will eventually unite!
Its pronounced Xin-Jin
What ethnic groups are related to the Uyghurs? Is it true that they are Turkic in origin?
Uyghurs are nomadic people from Central Asia
@@jimmylee1776 they are not nomadic. Do better research about your beloved compatriots
they were once nomadic centuries ago, that was right before they invaded the taklamakan area aka southern Xinjiang, killed, subjugated and eventually assimilated their remaining victim's, just like turks did in Anatolia.
Many Uyghurs look Chinese after centuries of intermarriages.
❤❤❤👍👍👍
one of the Mongols who were conquered by China and subjected to genocide
Dzungar Mongols. But this was by the Manchu Emperor Kangxi & Qianlong, along with the Chahar & Khalkha Mongols because the Dzungar Khan invaded and attacked the Khalkha tribes.
This video was done before Uigher internment camps. They are facing genocide, brain washing and sterilization😢
