I didn't know this game existed until a few months ago when I rolled Into my local retro shop and saw Fighters History for snes on the shelf.. I thought it was a fighters Destiny game for a moment until I looked it up.. this game is actually pretty good..
1"10 : there's another female fighter named Ryoko ! It's in...World Heroes 2 (Super Famicom, PlayStation 2, Neo Geo, Neo Geo CD), World Heroes 2 Jet (PlayStation 2, Game Boy, NG, NG CD), World Heroes Perfect ! (PlayStation 2, japanese Saturn, NG, NG CD) :) 2"56 : Mizoguchi. Available in King of Fighters : Maximum Impact : Regulation A. (only on japanese PlayStation 2.)
A game series dismissed as another boring SF knockoff. While the characters weren't as memorable(mostly)I always felt it couldve been a hit with zippier gameplay and more interesting designs. I'm still conflicted on the censorship issue. Removing Clown being gay wasn't cool but it was kind of implied he was a pedo too... so... urgh.
Karnov is the most interesting character here, being a former legendary hero himself. Not only that, but he is a direct servant of God (Yes, *THAT* God) and has been deemed the strongest man on the planet. Who can really argue since he beat the crap out of a demonic dragon with his bare hands back in his native game before?
Karnov's pretty chill for a final boss, not gonna lie.

Both Ryokos are based on a legendary Judo expert from Japan. :)
@@BryonYoungblood Yes !
Ryoko Tani ! 😘
Olympic champion of judo !
Golden medal ! 😇
In Sydney. (Olympic Games 2000) 😉
Poor Mizoguchi, he can't leave in peace for his master😢😢
Despite Clown's ending being kinda funny it is really dark because he has sick attraction to young boys
You Can Fight versus...a bull...named Ox ! Don't use any credits !
the marstorius ending is so funny
Sorry sensi no fight this man again is out
👍
God, balloon was a cheap move.

I hated this one, abuse is never funny, regardless of the gender of the abuser. If it was him abusing his wife, there would be an uproar.
Ryoko > Makoto

Ashley Van Hammer Street Fighter's designs weren't exactly stellar

In all honestly... Fighters history the original was better than SF2
