    I have taken these government bonds and when they were offered by the bank I asked two questions where I was given perfunctory answers (which unfortunately I accepted: 1. To which infrastructure projects are these bonds linked? 2. How are they able to pay such huge interest rates, far above the rate of GDP growth? The answer to the first was basically "The Government knows" and to the second "The Government is desperate for the money and so the market dictates the rates." 😢😢😢

      @@wanjirusep The banks are owned partly by govt and politicians. How do you loan yourself and the pay yourself huge interests. The monies that banks have belong to tax payers, who can't even access the loans at a reasonable interest rates.. That's how they steal from us... Its systemic and big corporations are involved.. I will give up my citizenship when am presented with another, Somali is a better choice than being Kenyan.

      As much as Wanjigi is bringing awareness to our economic and financial situation, he helped create this monstrous governments in his house when he hosted the two ICC criminals. He carries the baggage. Secondly he hasnt opened up on what he was to gain in the so called covenant. I have a feeling he is being economical with the truth. Anyway am fed up being Kenyan.

      @abocas 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@charlesmwangi5834 and the reason behind it was not that Wanjigi didn’t get the tender.
      Wanjigi had found a way to built the SGR with private funds and the Chinese ExIm bank, from Mombasa to Malaba (I think it was for some 50+ billions), not involving taxpayers money.
      Instead Uhurus government went to borrow foreign money, about 7 -8 x more, part of which were stolen. And the SGR was only from Mombasa to Nairobi. And taxpayers had to pay back that money, including the looted part.
