Just subscribed to your channel. Awesome video. Nice boat set up you have there my friend. I also fish Silverwood lake for Striped Bass, but not with the same luck as you do.
Awsome video!!!! where r u getting the sardibes?? are they fresh or frozen?? i fish skinner quit a bit and always lookin for new ways to feeesshh!!! thanks again "MO"
Thanks for your support, we really appreciate that! We usually catch our sardines (usually at Balboa Pier) then freeze them immediately. That works the best we found. However, if we run out of those fresh ones, we will buy frozen sardines at any bait store. Those will work too, but when the striper are really picky, the fresh ones can't be beat. Good luck at Skinner!
@@mauritobias8759 Thanks for the sub brother! The main baits I use are the Keitech Swing Impact Fat (4.3 Electric Shad) and Keitech Easy shiners (3" Shad) as my teasers. The other set up I have was just a mix match of random soft plastics I found at home. I had Zoom Swimming Super Flukes Jr. (Smoking Shad) as my teasers and Strike King Shadalicious (3.5" Ayu) as my main bait. The Keitechs are my go-to as they have a massive kick, but I honestly had more success this winter with the Shadalicious which has more of a body roll than a big thumping tail kick. Hope this helps!
So sorry for the late reply, I know this probably doesn't help, but for future reference, fishing off the dock with a fly-lined or carolina rigged piece of anchovy or sardine is usually a good bet
Nice work bro. Showing how it's done ✔ 👌
Great Videos and set up!

Thanks for the Sub! It definitely takes some time and luck to figure this lake out. Hopefully these videos help!
I just started hitting Silverwood, whats a good rig to fish for stripers from the bank?
A carolina rig with a 18" leader is usually pretty good around there. Anchovies and Sardines are my go to baits of choice. Good luck out there!
When you heading out there
I'll be back in Cali over the summer. You can bet I'll be out there as often as I can!
It was good to see you on the water today brother 🤙🏻
Great to see you too! I appreciate the support!

What were you guys using for bait
Nice video what kind of boat do you have
We run a Tracker Targa V18
Nice set up of a rig
Thank you!
Great vid guys new sub here
Appreciate the support brother!
Great job ! Love your whole set up , super nice !!
What size hook are you flying with ?
Thank you! I use a size 1/0 gamakatsu finesse wide gap hooks. I like the wide gap to help hold the larger sardine chunks.
