As someone with autism (I’m on the much more mild side but still have issues with schooling, etc to give you an idea), I can confirm that we are a tightly weaved community that loves to help each other and see each other grow and thrive. I was in special needs schooling for 3 and a half years, and when you’re in that sort of situation, you feel like a family. Everyone loves each other and we all look out for each other. I’ve since returned to normal schooling and things have been going great, but sometimes I do miss the family feeling I got while at special needs schooling, which is why I’m so grateful that people are dedicated to creating autism resources. I actually live in Columbus and while I myself probably won’t require these, I would definitely consider contributing to them because the more people you have supporting you that understand first hand, really makes a big difference. Just to everyone that does their best to make our lives better: thank you. It truly means the world.
I think any parent worries about that, but especially ones with children who have special needs. I hope you can find some comfort for the future when you think about the resources your son has. The world is getting so much more open-minded about autism every day. Im sure you’ll both be here for many more years so there will be even more positive changes as you all grow. Take care ❤❤
I just don’t talk but it’s going away I was bullied for not being someone’s friend I am homeschooled and I have a chance to go to middle school if anyone can tell me some stuff that might change my mind that will mean the world to me
With respect, most of us aren't like this (they make ASD look like down syndrome in the video), and are able to blend in via masking. For us, it's not a "disorder" that one treats, but is a condition in which we communicate and process data input differently than others. It's a linguistic/language difference. We only mask who we are to be less socially awkward and to fit in.
i have a son which is autistic also but it was mild. im so worried since he is now turning 8. I love watching videos like this. to get ideas on what to do or not to do.❤
This is fantastic, there really is so little for autistic adults to support independence, it's usually either having a lot of care from professionals & family or just struggling through life unsupported which leaves so many people not able to live a happy healthy life. I also think having autistic teachers & TAs in autistic schools is a really good idea, they can bring in knowledge that no amount of academia could provide.
there children in adults bodies i know someone he in his 40s and he got the mental age of 16 year old still lives with mummy always make sure he get home so he can have dinner with her
I’m not like this ether but I am a level 1 Autistic person. Sure I don’t like when people self diagnosed but that is usually when the journey started. Then you go and get tested.

I have autism and I’m 12 it’s hard for me and I het scared easily but I’m getting outside of my comfort zone
As older parents with an autistic only son, we really worry about what will become of our son after we pass away.
I think any parent worries about that, but especially ones with children who have special needs. I hope you can find some comfort for the future when you think about the resources your son has. @mechanism6648 Dude not cool. If your think about saying something like that again then don't say it at all
Not everyone with autism is the same@mechanism6648
@mechanism6648you need prison, that’s blatantly obvious. I’m sure there’s a hate speech law that’ll get you there, I’m willing to help in that effort.
God bless that doctor
He's so cute. What a good guy!! I bet he came a long way. That's proof and a testament to early intervention and trained teachers
Seriously? He is not a child
I just don’t talk but it’s going away I was bullied for not being someone’s friend I am homeschooled and I have a chance to go to middle school if anyone can tell me some stuff that might change my mind that will mean the world to me
So after time it ends and be fluent in talking
We need more doctors like him❤
the doctor sounds like a lighter voiced version of yoda 😂😂
Brandon Cortez Oh god all I can see is Yoda with his haircut whenever he talks now.
He even have similar ears 😁
Cute, he must have a dry throat/getting over a cold.
More like Jordan Peterson
More like Jordan Peterson

You are 100% right but is our society out there that needs to be educated about autism so there no be rejections toward autistic people.
i think that i will be a autistic adult
if your not autistic, you won't be
i have a son which is autistic also but it was mild. im so worried since he is now turning 8. I love watching videos like this. to get ideas on what to do or not to do.❤

I was actually BULLIED for seeking services as a self-diagnosed adult in Sacramento.
Did you get officially diagnosed yet?
The teacher is advanced
In some countries it is pretty worse... I hate myself because ASD+ADHD.... People around not understand....
From my experience society treats them like crao, have lost both my parents now. Have no employment support, support in general frim local services
If I might ask, do you have ASD as well?
Autistic adult and yeah feel pretty hopeless not really sure what to do with my life to be honest
i’m an autistic kid and i’m doing great (i’m deathly obsessed with hit indie game geometry dash - made by robtop and moderated primarily by viprin)
Careful not to break your hand like riot did. What's your favorite completed demon difficulty level?
Bro geometry dash is the definition of taking a silly 2D cube game into a multiverse 💀
0:37 look at this figure. xD, I bet he can fly.

ITS IN OHIO??
My autistic sister is 19

Tom Orouke
hes just like me frfrrrrr
You're a moderate?
Bruh
It sucks.
Back in my day, we didn't have autistic kids because a belt would prevent this illness
Autism isn't an illness bud, and applying physical punishment to ASD individuals is like yelling at someone suffering from a migraine.
Uhh they did exist back then, I'm guessing you probably have dementia or a brain-eating parasite.
Only in ohio
We’re losing are fathers with this one 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lil bro are you one of them?💀
only in ohio what?
They become adults😂
Maybe you should try it too
