I fell in love with Limmy and his humor way back at the start of his career, I watched his streams off and on, I dont know why its hitting me, i could be tired and burnt out with life and its nihilistic meaness, but for some reason, this stream of the game is one of the last little straws that made me sad and really disenchanted with Limmy.
You can always tell when a community just d rides their streamer idol cause these comments are all acting like this game is completely devoid of humor and voice talent when its literally packed to the brim. But since this old dude they worship isnt vibing with it they have to flood the comments with negativity to justify it since hes a bastion for their own overly negative brains.
@@thegrimyeaper the fast off quilter dialogue mixing elements of the mundane with the bizzar, the send up of 1980s cultures, Monty python like absurdity, a well intentioned piss take of the Yorkshire dialect and darkly cruel jab at the working class. Obviously mileage will vary depending on taste, it won’t be many people’s idea of funny and that’s generally what makes something better
I like the kinda romeo and juliet thing that happens, tiny toms tiny pie and big rons and sons. I think the girl florence(flo has 3 jobs)brought her boyfriend Rob (mop and bring pie filling) i think before the bed ridden boy who likes soup and has superstrechy arms. Number 2 you can catch 2 instances of love making occurring. The mechanic fixing the fish &chips ladies pipes. And the kind couple that invites mc to have soup(bed ridden super long arm)

Went into this genuinely expecting it to be good, but fuck me, they really put all of that art and animation into a vehicle for shite patter with somehow even worse vocal delivery.
One of the only games I found genuinely amusing form a writing perspective not to mention great general delivery. Like a cross between mighty boosh and reeves and Mortimer. True It’s a very niche humour so I suspect most people won’t enjoy it which is fine obviously

I would say though there seems to be a comedic tone and style that’s evident everywhere in the game weather that’s anyone’s taste or not that is very rarely in games

What exactly is it that you don't like about it?
Severe lack of actual jokes, voice acting is terrible. Feels like more what a yank's imaginings of England would be as a game.
