Every Sunday I wonder why I am watching this channel. What is your magic? I am an elderly woman living in Austria, making crochet granny squares with no knowledge of farming or machinery, but every Sunday I follow this farming family through trials and tribulations , rainy days, stormy days, and sunny days. I wanted to see a cottage being renovated but I have stayed to see the magic unfold. Blessings on your family
Lol. I do the same from Florida!
Me too from uk!😂❤️
Shout out to the Austrians who helped out our own electric maintenance crew after the recent storm!
Ditto!
I agree from Atlantic Canada! Your videos are a highlight of my weekends!
I don’t know the first thing about farming but I started watching your videos about a year ago and have been hooked ever since
Jaysus the right tool at the right time … looks the business
Listening to you talk I realise as an Australian the terms and words are very common…I like it! Love watching your videos
I am constantly amazed by the fact that you seem to be able to deal with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! Astonishing!
Are you as good with tasks around the house? 😅
Brilliant piece of kit for land management. Good to see you Adrian
Wow! Awesome bit of kit. It sounded like it was just going yum yum yum as it quietly munched it's way through breakfast!! 🤣🤣
Wow what a bit of kit that is Adrian. No messing !!! Great video as always - never tire of watching and look forward to each Sunday.
Let’s hope the weather improves for you to get out in the fields soon.🇮🇲
That is some machine!
It would make short work of all that downed ash. Your Mom will be kept warm 👍👍
I am happy to see you always keeping safety in mind when you work.
What a fabulous machine! Love your videos Adrian and so look forward to my Sunday night (I'm an Aussie) viewing.
I thought it was a chipper. But even better it makes your firewood. That’s fantastic they gave you that.
I thought so too. I haven't seen one like this in operation before, cool.
Another wonderful Sunday video. Just love everything you share. God Bless!
Great job, wise words from your late father, try things and make life easier on yourself.
Great machine you are saving your back on chainsaw use and blades plus utilising nature. There were some people after the storms couldn’t go anywhere in their super duper EVs and their heat pumps were also out over a week or so with out electric- power lines down etc.
I can totally see you parking the smaller tractor with its bucket right under the spout and quite smugly driving over to your mums having not broken a sweat making firewood for the first time ever lol. It's a nice machine, and should make things a bit easier going.
I thought the same thing. Or a small trailor
@@bevakathedementedraccoon yes that would be the right job, there a fierce handy conveyor that can be got for these as well. Can filling into trailers
I have had one for about 7 years now. Chews 8ft of wood in 2 seconds, sweat will be broken! Eats pto shafts for breakfast, hopefully flywheel will help.
Hi Adrian all the team at clontrac are very helpful 👍
Great machine Adrian.
I was not at all expecting it to spit out logs! Nice and even equal length logs at that! I was only expecting to see chipped wood. What a fantastic bit of kit that is! That storm was terrible, but it seems to have brought you some luck! A wall you had mentioned would need fixing got knocked down, thus making you deal with it come the summer and a PTO driven generator that will do more than just deal with emergencies and now this! They that every dark cloud has a silver lining.
Good man put it true it’s paces be interesting to see how it copes .I’d love to put some Australian hardwood true but it might be like putting an iron bar true it
Great Bit Of Kit ... Thanks For Posting ... 😀
Well ware Adrian. Best of luck with that machine 🍀
Great video Adrian. That definitely works and there will be a lot of work for it this year. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
Just one observation you should put a tonne bag onto the side of the discharge chute and you won't have to be picking them up off the ground.
Great machine, I have a smaller one, I brought it off clontrac 2 years ago.
Or the tipsy bin for fire wood.
Plonk next to the machine and lift over to the door of the mothers house when full to make it easier for her.
Great video love the log chopper and the information you showed us 😊
Great video and a great review of the wood processor. That is how reviews should be in my book. Everything from unpacking, wiring up the soket, cutting the PTO shaft and greasing before use. A great bit of kit and a real time saver, plus a lot safer and easier than a chainsaw. It would be great to see it working in the field, when you can get on the land without sinking! Keep up the great content.
I’ve wanted a propper video on one of these for years!!!!!
Looks a great piece of kit. All the very best Adrian
hudson is lovely . i miss my lab so much
He has lost a lot of his hearing lately and has gotten quite a bit slower on his feet too. The biggest issue with dogs is they get old way too fast. I dread that day
That is definitely a game changer! Great machine!
Nice Adrian. Glad your Dad told you to keep it. Remember, your body must last a lifetime!
I think your Dad knew it would save you some pain later in life. A Very smart man.
He probably got it for nothing jesus
Hi. I think if you used potato boxes to collect the sticks coming out off the machine would speed up production.
If you have enough boxes you could keep the firewood in them until it seasons and you need it. Should be no problem moving them around with the loader on the tractor.
4:59 a reference to Our Lord and Saviour signifies that all is not smooth sailing and that the technical manual may be somewhat erroneous in its content.
Looking good kit for making timber fast
Great piece of kit Adrian, certainly make life easier for you
Would a tipsy bin sit under the exit spout, save handling the chopped logs
Hopefully the weather will improve and you'll soon get out onto the land to carry out your fencing and clearing tasks
Take care all
Geoff
No it’s just a little too low, but there’s a conveyor for these that loads into trailers and bins.
Adrian if im board i always wathch your videos keep on with her from galway
Another great video has always Adrian Sinead and girls 👍
Put an IBC cage at the output and you will be able to move it then with the front forks. Save on labour. Seems a fine machine.
Thanks for video.
A great bit of kit for chopping stuff into handy logs for the fire!
Evening Adrian, and family
A tidy piece of equipment indeed 👌👌👌
Whoa, definitely don't want to get anything stuck in there. Think thats definitely the right thing to do, wait untill the land dries out then take the machine to the tree, will definitely save a lot of time. 👍
Great machine
Hi Adrian hope all your family well. What a machine everybody will want one if they have wood fires, just the job.GODBless
God Adrian you.ve got all the gear mate thats one handy looking machine
Fantastic video it will save you a lot of time sorting out fire wood
Great video Great looking machine Adrian
What a bit of kit! Not sure my wife would allow me to get one.
PS you work your dogs too hard! Keep up the good work.
Instead of chipping onto the ground, you should put the small trailer or the bucket loader to catch the wood…..this way you don’t have to handle them twice! Just a suggestion from a fan!
Great vid today. That is some machine
Adrian thats a fine handy bit of kit surely, will make light work of the timber, the lads at clontrac are great to deal with,i see farmer phil with something similar with a conveyor
Great video nice bit of kit Adrian 👍👍👍
That's a right good machine.
Looks good 👍
Main man himself some job alot work.cutting timber.chain saw
Absolutely awesome 👌
Great machine!
Great video Adrian. That's some machine, those small bits of timber can slow ya down unreal or u chance holding timber wit your foot to cut and chainsaw kick n injury urself (And I have the scar to remind me of what can happen) looking forward to seeing it in full action at a later date when weather improves. There'll be lots of use for it after the storm.
Cracking video as always
Looks a right job in fairness takes a lot of hassle out of the firewood
Well wear on your new machine I bought one too and I was told you had ordered one too my pto shaft is a shearbolt one best machine I ever got
Good machine, makes light work of the timber, put the tractor loader bucket under it, will save you gathering them.
That’s my intention for next time Lad 👍
Something different today Adrian, That look like a nice wee machine, would like to see what the next one up was capable of, I like the fact that it logs them and like you said it could be taken to the job, hope everything thing else is spot on good luck to you all
Your are doing "Farming ASMR" videos ..... ha ha Great piece of equipment .... linking the kill switch to the pto kill switch on the back fender is genius ....
Good video adrian looks a good machine
I think you need to use one of your grain bins (the ones that rocks) to catch the wood.
Great video
awesome kit would love to use it on our many willow trees on our farm
A mean and handy piece of kit if you have nice suitable feed material, Farmer P had one he was going to sell.
that machine would be ideal for farmer p for chopping logs up in stead of a axe great video Adrian as always
Right where the checkbook.... oh.. don't use them nowadays 😅.. looks a good bit of kit... I have been toying with the idea of a processor for a while so it's nice to see a genuine clear test being done.. well done.. stay safe 🏴
I have A150 MODEL A BRILLIANT MACHINE
If you had second tractor with loader bucket under chute or trailer save gathering up all those sticks 😊
Some job ,i wish I had this the last couple of weeks with all the trees iv been cutting up
I have that yoke, i put a meal bin under on the shoot for the bigger pieces, and the small rubbish i fill into bags, great for kindling
The short is point of a pto shaft is when it is straight between machine and tractor
i don't know how you store your firewood but i bet it would work great to have an ibc tank basket sat beside filling. that way you could store it and use out of them for ease or even those plastic feed boxes you have
Nice ❤❤❤
You could use it to cut up the branches that you would otherwise shred to reduce their volume and help them rot down quicker
What a great machine! Well presented! What kind of upkeep is required? Do you have to sharpen blades?
I’ll go through that the next time we’re using it as I honest don’t know enough to answer correctly, but I’d imagine the blade would need sharpening for time to time
Fab altogether ,Why did you not put trailer under shot? Keep well love to the family.
It’s a bit low for a trailer but maybe a loader bucket next time
Cool!
That looks like a great machine Adrian, simple and heavy duty… does the job🤩👍
Great video☺️👍
What was the brand of the machine?
Remet RP200 mate
@ thank you, interesting videos you got.. Farming is thoroughly diverse and never stops being interesting, and your videos really show that.
Best regards from Norway☺️
@@Norwegianfarminglife glad your enjoying the videos mate thank you 👍
That's some weapon
Great video Adrian I'm going to stick to the chainsaw. It looks like there is alot of unnecessary pieces broken up. I'm not convinced. Quick yes but I just don't know, alot of waste.
Looks a good bit of kit what sort of money ?
Haven’t a clue Antony unfortunately but it should be up online somewhere
Love the video. Is that a wood chipper or what is it called? Can that grind them into wood chips? Or does it only cut it into short lengths?
Branch logger, no it only chops them into 6-8” lengths. You can adjust the length that suits best
@ ok great. Thanks for the information. Best of luck with it👌
Great machine. Is the outlet too low for the tipsy bin?
Yes at the min but there’s a conveyor you can get for them if needed
That is unreal get me one😅
It didn’t really shred but good sized pieces to burn. 😊
farmer p has one for sale brilliant kit just put the hole branch through
That's a mighty tool
How much is it to buy ? Could you demonstrate the emergency stop does it stop instantly?
I don’t know anything on pricing but the emergency stops happens slowly, couple of seconds so the clutch doesn’t slip
@IFarmWeFarm the way that yoke pulls in and chops with ease I think I'd want a very fast stop
I know you had those logs trimmed neat so no fear of snagging your jacket but I had a bad fall throwing a log off a trailer the branch pulled me off the trailer
It's just a simple test feed in a log with paint on it see does it stop in time
@IFarmWeFarm BTW congrats with the channel your right up there with farner Phil and the flying Ferguson man
What camera gear do you use ? Cavan man with free fuel that's a dream surely 🤣🤣
@IFarmWeFarm the clutch plates are replaceable your arms and head not easy come by
What biggest size put through it nice tidy behind tractor
Would you think of purchasing the the wood splitter
Second option to deal with the boyfriends 🤔??
😂
Smaller hole to be dug too 😀
Will it cut beets? (Swede)
Beets?
Definitely need a barrow or something at the other side Adrain
I have said it all before this man is a perfectionist in all he does, and a natural presenter as well.GHTYAY
Fare from it but thanks Keith 👍
Does it need a min horsepower tractor adrian?
I should have asked that question, I’ll find out for the next time we’re using it. It definitely doesn’t take much to drive it
Personally my fault with these machines is that they only take relatively small timber. With ash die-back I'd love to be able to rent a machine that you could put 3 foot diameter timber into
It’s not bad at 6” ash which is a hard wood. Think a chainsaw would always be the right tool for anything bigger than
Great video and a great machine no doubt, but I have an issue with this new rule of not being allowed to burn the branches of trees etc, 'green waste' as they call it.
in my opinion it's a nonsense idea.
The reason I think that is that I am allowed burn the wood from the tree in the house but I can't burn the branches outside?
In my case I have to drive 50 miles to hire a woodchipper that runs on petrol or diesel, how is that good for the environment?
I'm all for protecting nature as most farmers are but this is such a stupid rule to add to many others dreamed up in offices somewhere.
I'd like to hear some opinions on it, thanks.
