    this is one of the best bang for your buck guitars on the market and it sounds better then a lot of guitars at a much higher price point

    Thanks for these videos - This is a really good comparison to your earlier videos on the 000-15M/000-15SM comparison

    What is your mic setup? I currently record straight into a mixer, but love the way this sounds even better!

      Ashley, we use 2 x AKG C451B and pan them left and right. Mics go straight into Focusrite Clarett Pre8

    Great vid! Could you please compare 000Jr-10 with Taylor Academy 12 (A12)? They have exactly the same price and I can't decide which one to get. Thanks!

    Una guitarra genial el sápele le da mejores agudos aunque le
    Quita graves en comparación con una guitarra de caoba, pero también el sapele es más brillante el sonido es genial este modelo

    This is made in Mexico?

      Yes, all road series and X series are made in Mexico. Very well made I might add. I own this 000-10e and it's just perfect. Love the tone and playability.

    I have to mention that it's not a mahogany guitar it's sapele. Sapele is somewhat similar to mahogany but the tone is definitely different and it puts out less volume.

  • @respetaalosdemas
    @respetaalosdemas 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    is not mahogany, is sapele is diferent wood!!

    • @fabianherzog7083

      Sapele is a type of Mahagony (though not from the same family of trees, but related in the category of meliaceae). It sounds quite similar to regular mahagony too :)

  • @cathys465
    @cathys465 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    NOT MAHOGANY. It's made of solid Sapele wood.

    • @IwizzzardI
      @IwizzzardI ปีที่แล้ว

      Sapele (Entandrophragma cylindricum) is a plant belonging to the family of mahagoni plants (Meliaceae). Therefore it is often refered as Sapele-Mahagoni...

    • @cathys465
      @cathys465 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wow! That makes two of my cheaper sapele guitars become mahogany back and sides guitars. Who knew? @@IwizzzardI

    • @IwizzzardI
      @IwizzzardI ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be fair.. you are indeed correct. The mahagony we normaly refer to is the "true" american mahagony. Mahagony and sapele have different tonal properties. While mahagony normaly provides a warm sound, sapele-(mahagony) has a more bright and tight sound to it because of its higher density. After all they are different trees from the same family 😄 @@cathys465
