I had the privilege to watch her performance at 'Pune Film festival' in september 1999 at Balgandharva theatre in Pune. I was then a first year student at Fergusson College. She performed 'Dasabhatara' and her stage presence was magnanimous. She directly interacts with the audience. I remember except 'Dasabhatara', she performed two more dance items and one was taken from a folk story of Orissa. She told the story and sang the Oriya songs. The performance was continued till 10.30 and some audience were thinking of leaving but she requested them not to leave in her own unique humorous style.
