How much weight will we loose?

I have DVT and Varicose and my doctor has advised me for Panchakarma(Basti+Virechana). Is it safe for DVT patient to take this treatment. One of know person who also have DVT mentioned that his doctor told that if he take Virechana, chances are there that it may cause PE(Pulmonoary Embolism). As blood clots may dislodge and travels up to cause PE. So I wanted to confirm about this.
Can you please clarify me on this?
