    I enjoyed watching this souvenir of your trip. I flew as a passenger on Pan Am from JFK-CDG and wish I had flown them more often. Thanks for inspiring my memories through yours.

    My mother (and I briefly) worked for Pan Am at LHR. Flew with them so many times in the 70s and early 80s...great memories. Dont miss those headphones though.

    Pertaining to the cockpit, 2:59 that's super old school to see the flight engineer who's sitting behind the pilot and co-pilot. The guy sitting there smiling at you. Now that job is obsolete and done by computers.🤓

    Ex Singapore Airlines 747, until aquired by Pan Am. Must have been nice to be on board and hear and feel those old P&W engines throttle up..

      Nice, yes nice sound these 4 engines. My favorite engine sound is from the DC 10 or MD 11

    Oh yea pan am was 1 un a mi3 n my dad worked for pan an 58 yrs n he was a macanic n on the line crew n went to mci to run the hydruc shop n i miss him n oan am n retired right befor pan am went out n i rem the day s of flying all over the world n we flew sub low ir
    Or stand by n many many times we got bumped but it waa a wonderfull time n it waa a good time to see the world. N i ty to my dad n ty to pan am

    Spectacular!, like this. Its a very good movie about the last days fon Pan Am. Three conexions from Orlando to Amsterdam. No Non-stop.

      I flew Pan Am when I was a kid and so wanted to be a pilot for them. I wanted to fly the world over like the pilots of old did. I got that chance, albeit for only a few years. But I enjoyed the short time and am proud to say that I was a Clipper pilot.

    Love seeing the old Pan Am Worldport at JFK. Many memories of killing time there waiting for international flights. And the old movie screen with the continents- that they would flip over when time to play the in flight movie- how times have changed!

      Silent Review is what it's called. Flight Attendants mentally prepare themselves for any possible emergency senario during Take-Off and Landing. As a crew member in the cabin you usually relax a bit once the wheels have left the ground and you notice a steady positive climbout, I agree it sometimes looks funny - unmotivated somehow.

    Interesting that Pan Am flew a 727 between London and Amsterdam. I didn't know they had short haul flights between European cities.

      Yes, there where no long haul flights from Amsterdam back then, and almost no code sharing. I like it this way, you get more flighing for your money.😬

      It might sound cool but it was awful, banning smoking in public areas and especially in planes was long overdue.

      My father was a smoker when I was growing up. The entire family had to sit in the smoking area in the back few rows. Horrible then and even more so when I look back on it now.
