There was a PC executable at one time that helped design courses based on which packs (and how many) you owned. I think I found it on a BGG thread, but it was a while back and I believe it only had up to the 3rd extension Set in it.
Regarding the advantage to player 1, could you combat that with a quick "qualifying session"? Something like 5 flicks each to be taken inside 20 seconds, furthest along the track goes first, second furthest goes second etc?
I’ve seen the leaders fly off the track or someone from behind catch up with amazing shots. One thing that does help the pack stay tight is at the end of the round, whoever is in last place (and didn’t go off the track their turn) gets to take an extra shot. Acts as both a catch up mechanism, and it adds sone strategy to one’s turn in “trying” to finish last in a round sometimes.
I’ve never heard of the rule. It’s not in the rule book (sheet) and seems unfair to me. If youre crap you deserve to be last place as there’s no luck in the game.
Hi, great video I am picking up Pitchcar this week as your recommendation was the nudge I needed to make this the racing ma win my collection. Just wanted to ask for a little more clarification on the how to win rule you suggested as I would like to use it. Are you saying everyone does a lap and after the final person finishes their lap we then choose a finish line somewhere else on the board or you or you just keep going until you call stop and then we decide who has finished furthest from the start line?
Everyone completes a set number of laps and has the same amount of turns. If more than one players finishes on the same turn then the player who is furthest past the finish line is the winner.
@@BoardGameBollocks thanks for the reply! So for example and apologies I just want to get this right, 6 car race doing 3 laps each. So when the final two cars finish their 3rd lap we check to see who has gone round the furthest from when they completed their lap. Does that mean you're spacing people out further from the starting line so everyone has their own starting point? Sorry if I'm not grasping it, if I don't get it it's my bad! 🤣
I agree with the verdict although I don’t own the game as it’s profile doesn’t fit my wallet, table size or small game group. I did for a time own a sort of wannabee called Bisikle but it didn’t resemble the Tour de France much.
YES! Why the fuck don't the tracks meet up as they should!!! I've played with electric train and car tracks and have had a far easier time with those, and these tracks aren't even powered! How did they screw that up??? I got Pitch Car Mini, takes up far less space. It was a solid decision.
Well that is shitty. I thought maybe they were on the up and up given that they are so focused on inclusivity. But it probably did get you a few views.
Thanks for the review, my kids live to hear you speak. Allegedly were brothers from different mother's.
Hahaha…wait 😮
Finally got my copy and extension 1,3,4,5 🤟🤘💥 now the elusive number 2 :)
I came back to say thanks. I found it on sale this weekend and picked up the base game with expansions 6 and 7. It's coming in tomorrow!
Hurrah!
Where did you find it on sale?

Restoration Games should bring this game back with a deluxe edition.
It’s still in print
@@BoardGameBollocks I see that now. Just really hard to get here in the U.S.

Could do but still means uneven number of turns and games invariably decided on qualifying.

No. Everyone starts from the start line one after the other.
@@BoardGameBollocks perfect, thank you! I look forward to trying this out soon!!
Your videos are really nice.👍 I Subscribed you just now🙂
Cheers Krishna…glad you like my stuff 👍🏻

I have Bisikle and the “sequel” Roadsterz. The Z ball is infuriating but my cat (RIP Mushroom) loved it.

Mate. Just spaffed our cash into Carroooooka... You're a bad man😂
Just got the Pool version…review incoming
I bought the extra 7 yellows, the rack and the wall bracket. I basically just said take my money.
I should’ve negotiated commission with the designer 🙄
Carrooka is on my radar. Waiting until I move to a bigger house before I pull the trigger though.
There’s a smaller Pool version of space is an issue
Just saw that Shut Up and Sit Down used your b roll for this!
Yes I know…didn’t ask but they left a credit which is fair enough I guess.
