Thanks for watching! I did not realize at the time I was actually starving it for current, so it actually has more headroom than that video demos. See my latest video to hear it with the proper current.
No, the UA stuff is well out of my budget. But I do know that those are digital. These Vox pedals are analog, with the exception of the little screen that shows the wave form. That means you’d probably have to shave off some of the highest frequencies to eliminate digital noise that tends to come with DSP. I have heard of people ditching the UA for HX Stomp.
@@jr0706 Thanks for the quick reply. I have a Mystic but just ordered a Ruby to compare them. I have a UA Dream that I like so I figured I’d kick the tires on the Ruby. If the difference (if better) is not worth it, I can return it.
This is very nice and thanks ;)

Curious if you’ve tried the UA Ruby and, if so, how the Mystic compares to it as a pure Vox In A Box.

@@ThatWhatIsNot Sorry for interrupting :)
How's comparison went? What do you really prefer from these two?
Thanks
I actually really like the Ruby. I thought it sounded more authentic to my ears. I ended up selling the Mystic.
