I got this "verdict" at 35- after having extreme amount of stress and grief- to a point I missed my period a month before it was tested. So it is no wonder the results were that bad. After being on Mediterranean diet for 3,5 years my ovarian system has bounced back and I'm heading to natural fertility treatment (single mom by choice) with IUI now at 38 years old. My follicle count is just fine for my age. I find AMH result can be somewhat misleading. Don't worry about it. Focus on leading a healthy and stress-free life instead!

I’ll be 30 next month and I totally understand, thanks for making this. I have hoshimotos and take daily medication to support. About a year and a half ago, I missed two periods. I was assured it was normal but sent to a gynocologist for a check up, she disagreed and ordered some extra blood work which indicated ovarian reserve but again, said it was likely to be normal once my hormones got settled after upping my medication. Scheduled a follow up 3 months later and was told that in fact I had a less then 5% chance of getting pregnant and was officially premenopausal. Went to see a specialist who was more optiomistic but only found 2 eggs during my recent ultrasound.Turns out the first dr wasn’t wrong, it does seem kinda pointless to spend so much on egg retrieval for so little eggs, but then again there’s little I wouldn’t do to become a mom, it’s been my single biggest hope my entire life. So many feelings, thanks for making me feel less alone.

I was trying to conceive since 29 yo and after 2+ years of infertility, the doctors told me I had diminished ovarian reserve because of genetics. I am now 32 and they reccomend to go directly to IVF

I'm 29, and my reserves didn't move, probably 1 ovum per year, it seem it's very rare to hold the ovum in my ovaries. Can you share information about this phenomenon? It would be appreciated.

Well, I will just have to leave it to God. I cant afford these expensive treatments.

If IVF is something you really want there are financing options but also, depending on your job, your insurance may pay. Starbucks for instance offers full payment for IVF to employees after 3 months of employment.
Lastly, Im not sure where she loves but I live in South Florida and unfortunately my experience with IVF (3 rounds) is its even more expensive than the costs she just listed but that all varies by doctor.

What was the reason of diminished ovarian reserve at 30

I’ve learned that they commonly don’t know. Only a small percentage have a clear reason, just so much about genes and fertility that is still unknown.
