Nope, renaissance was marked just by humanism and increased curiosity. Here, humanism is not the same as compassion. Compassion aaya tha reform movement ke through, jo age of enlightenment and reason mei hi aayi thi :)
Hello! So basically Conduct disorder is more severe, as usme jo actions and behaviours hote hain vo bahut zyada aggressive, antisocial or law violating hote hain, jaise kisi ko harm pahuchana, property damage karna etc. Here we selected ODD because other symptoms matched to it + defying rules and requests is like authorities ki baat na manna.
14:33, didi shouldn't it be tolerance and not dependence? The question mentions that they need more and more of a substance to get the same effect, so obviously the person has built up a tolerance which is causing this to happen.
Alright people see, literally speaking toh tolerance makes sense, but yahan pe we are talking in terms of how a disorder is conceptualised in DSM. Tolerance kisi bhi cheez ki ho sakti hai aur good or bad dono ho sakti hain, jaise pain tolerance. So it’s correct in a literal sense, but iss context mei it’ll be very general. On the other hand, the DSM approved term for when you get so addicted to a substance ki uske after effects feel karne ke liye aapko usko baar baar aur zyada lena padh raha hai, it’s called substance dependence. For example heroin ka case le lo. Aapko pehle jo sense of inhibition and lightness keval 10 mg lene se mil jata tha, ab aap jab 20 mg lete ho tabhi aapko vo feel hota hai. Fir ab vaise 20 mg lene pe bhi feel nahi hota, to ab aap 30 mg lena start karoge. This is called dependence, is liye ye hamara answer hai.

The answer can be Conduct Disorder as well? As breaking of rules and regulations comes under that?

Hello didi, for the best criterion for determining the normality of behaviour why can't the answer be follows the norm of a society?
it's because what society wants us to follow might not necessarily be healthy/ good for us (eg; feudal norms/practices) so the most appropriate would be somethings which helps us overall and ensures we live a good life :)
@@shvlikawell said! Not everything that society puts down as a norm has our actual well being in it. Better stick to what scientists have derived.
