I made my first snowshoe today. All I did was pound nails into a board on my pencil lines to use for a form. Didnt need to cut any wood at all. Worked great. I also didnt need to buy any of those PVC connectors. I simply used hot sand and put my pvc pipe in between my nails and let it cool. Costs under $5 a pair after lacing in some rope.
A video on this woulda been gold 👌
Music sounds like you are about to invade the frozen side of hell.
Nice one mate. 2 things
1. Please slow down the video. I really wanted to see every step of the shoes. :)
2. You could bend the tubes in front a bit upwards, so you won't drag so much snow with you, when you step forward. And that shouldn't be a problem with the blow-dryer and the pvc tubes. :)

It's a heat gun.
I love the music
still cautious about PVC in snow. maybe my PVC bows put a bad taste in my mouth on this issue. but PVC does get brittle in cold. so how well do these hold up and exactly how much abuse can they handle?
Class 200 will break very easily. Get Scheduled 40 PVC. In irrigation we use that in areas that are very hard and Rocky. Stuff's solid.
Great video I would just use truck tire tube for quick bindings
You're about to get thousands of views.
PVC is crap in freezing weather. SNAP!!
Awesome video when played with the sound muted.
True
very awesome
*trees everywhere, easy to use to build snowshoes
*uses garbage PVC instead
