"Since Bahamut exploded during the Calamity, his essence splattered over most of the people of Eorzea." Considering the art that I've seen of FFXIV, *lots* of people would love that.
Ah yes, summoner - the class which despite its name only lets you summon 3 things and despite its lore doesn’t let you summon any more mini-primals. You know I know at some point we’re gonna get necromancer as a class and that will probably be the true minion class, but still summoner was such wasted potential
I don’t think SE used their own source material giving us solar bahamut instead of leviathan shiva and Ramuh no? Sounds like the second we were able so summon Bahamut, we were actually overpowered when it comes to summoning at least Ramuh and Leviathan. Then when we summoned Phoenix we were overpowered when it came to summoning Shiva. SE, why can’t we have them in our gem phase after Phoenix?!
Demi summoning is a completely different process than egi summoning. WoL canonically will never be able to summon any lesser avatars besides Ifrit/Garuda/Titan and this was made extremely clear during the SMN storyline. They even clearly showed we failed to attune to Ramuh and that we do not have the aetherical capacity for any more egi summons.
@@dimitrinowell7188 Bahamut? Phoenix? You’re telling me we can summon them no problem? Now Solar Bahamut also but we cannot and do not have the power to summon Shiva, Leviathan, Ramuh? We are WAY more powerful now than we were at level 50 and I mean EFFING WAY MORE POWERFUL. It’s a non-issue lore wise.
@@1Mrstephen Just an excuse rationale to explain in game reason why they couldn't practically integrate the true idea of SMN. Like how it was in XI. I've always said they should have just have additional summons be merely a glamor option. They could even keep the current kit, just let us change the particle effects and the visuals of the summons.
@@dimitrinowell7188 That was before we rejoined for an 8th time and have gained a lot of power since then. It's that way because they chose to write it that way and they can change it whenever they want, which would be very welcome. The job is rather lean.
Check out my novel: Eternal Reign a.co/d/cmfaYpi

I absolutely love this! I love the way you put it all together!
How serendipitous. I just started Arcanist/summoner class myself
