4500lm with high beam and 2700lm low, im definitely not an expert when i comes to light brightness but i shut off the lights in my garage so it was pitch black and turned them on and it was ridiculous 🤣 look up austin Neiheiser on the bombmoto group he made a post showing the brightness out side in the dark!

Hell yeah bro! What did you want to know about the fuse panel? Any questions i got you! But basically the fuse panel is just a positive and and a negative, the positive coming off each fuse and the negative has a bus bar. Its best to know how many amps whatever your adding to it pulls so you can put the correct fuse.
Do you need a fuse for a led headlight?
Nah, honestly a fuse on the positive wire for the 12v reducer will do just fine, or an inline fuse going to the headlight switch. I rarely use fuses when I wire my stuff up. But for plug and play kits like my guy austin makes, it's best to take every precaution. He's made some great improvements in his kits lately and got rid of the fuse box for inline fuses to save a bunch of space!

how do you connect those ebay lights? my light has a plug and play connector and the wire is red and black where on my mototec 48v should i connect it to?
As long as the lights are good for 48v you'll plug them into the indicator plug. Make sure black and black match then the other 2 together.

Certainly makes things easier. But didn't I just see the High beam indicator when you turn on low beam light?
Yeah i guess technically on the dkd its a high beam indicator, the display sold separately with the kit only has a green low beam indicator so i just wired it up the way it comes!
If you look at the dkd wiring diagram it just says headlight, so you could definitely interpret it either way.
@@EmxBrandon Yeah and that Chinese English is somehow hard to figure out sometimes. I have a dkd coming to me, and I for sure want it to behave like my other vehicles.. High beam = Blue indicator 😉👌
@jonaspoulsen9232 are you wiring a 12v kit yourself or looking to grab a plug and play kit? Of course wiring yourself you can do it however, but if you did want the kit you just gotta swap the wires around for high and low that way when you send power to the spliced wire for the display it turns on the high beam!
@@EmxBrandon Im piecing a kit together myself. Got a qs212 70h 7kw fast winding motor, em260sp controller and a dkd on its way from AliExpress. Im converting a oldschool lead acid scooter/moped into a high speed sleeper.
I love to make my own wiring etc, or my ocd loves it 😂
And when somethings up, I know exactly where to look when I did it all by my self.
This, and I think the prices is too steep on "branded" stuff like e&c sells. But each to their own. I just love to see all kind of conversions no matter how high level skill is involved in building 😎
