The thing is about mew is being very floaty and not tank heavy(Canon wise he is) is that you have to really utilize short hops and fast falls to execute combos or expect yourself to be punished every time you fail a parry or juggle.

Why is sonic s+ tier?
From my understanding: sonic is the best hit and run character in the game, and the reason is because he is the fastest character in the game allowing him to get out of situations very quickly. Sonic is absolutely DESPISED in the SSBU Community because of this, he is like min min who is a zoner. EXCEPT Sonic approaches and runs away.
I hope this gave you a good example as to why he is Top tier.
