I love the Alpha 17 change regarding treatment of injuries: - Characters can now tend their own wounds (with a penalty to effectiveness). No more doctors being doomed by poor treatment!
I love that you decided to continue with Dark Aavak and Yoko. You put all that hard work and resources into them dang it! I would like my husband to be considered for a character, preferably a husky since he loves those dogs. His name is Keegan. Thank you for making such delightful content and bringing the pixels to life.

I love watching Aavak give personalities to all of his characters. A quick tip with the floors that took me forever to realize. When you want to build a floor over another floor (i.e., limestone over wood) remove the floor (wood) then build the other (limestone). This way you get some of the resources back from the previous floor and they aren't wasted.
You should get the Hardworking Animals mod, it makes the animals that can haul, do nothing but haul. They are much more efficient and the task of hauling doesn't take away from the more important tasks in your colony.
Just got back from MCM in London and absolutely knackered, but can't go to sleep before watching this beauty! Can't wait for another brilliant let's play series and another wonderful colony. I'm happy to be a part of it, if you ever run out of names ;) Maybe for Kapelsen.

This looks like a pretty good area from a defensive standpoint! Just need to wall off some areas and you can force invaders to waddle through the river, which you can then turn into a killzone with traps, turrets, sandbags, sniper nests and general defensive positions! Fantastic!

No, Aavak, the flooring does not affect the chance of food expiring. I put down concrete or something non-flammable just for the sake of not having dirt floor in my buildings. Oh right, remember that wood flooring is flammable now :)

I volunteer to be a colonist. Also you should consider the smooth wall mod, it lets you smooth and decorate natural walls like in Dwarf Fortress. While you can't smooth or carve stone walls (made from blocks), stone walls do look like smoothed and carved natural walls.
Aavak! Something about priorities is that they happen from right to left as well as by number, meaning that if someone has, say, hauling and cleaning as the same priority they will ALWAYS do all hauling they can before they do any cleaning. (Like if they have hauling and cleaning 3 and then all the crafting at 4 they'll do hauling, then cleaning, then tailoring, smithing, and finally crafting, in that order.)
I wonder if any of the guys from Medusa's Raft might turn up... Should make a point of checking the original names on A16 and seeing if they show up again attempting to have Dark Aavak take them with him this time.
Upon seeing the ample frame of the Armadillo raider.. Dark Aavak flew into a frenzy... knowing that both he and Yoko would dine good.. the man steaks will flow again... but will he reveal this to his new companions?.. we shall see.

Aavak you just put cleaning so far back in the priorities. It sounded like you wanted it right after hauling but if not that's my mistake. ^_^
I wonder if any of the guys from Medusa's Raft might turn up... Should make a point of checking the original names on A16 and seeing if they show up again attempting to have Dark Aavak take them with him this time.
Upon seeing the ample frame of the Armadillo raider.. Dark Aavak flew into a frenzy... knowing that both he and Yoko would dine good.. the man steaks will flow again... but will he reveal this to his new companions?.. we shall see.
