Damn, Putin up there doing his peck cable flies on board the presidential aircraft. I don't think Russia builds it's aircraft as answer to American aircraft, Russian tech and avionics is quite ahead of American tech.
The Il 96 is, without a shadow of doubt, the ugliest passenger plane ever built. The range was poor because the engines were inefficient and its not as luxurious as many Middle Eastern Sheiks. But thats all they got, I suppose.
