Props to you on breaking down these bars thoroughly. I don’t know if ya’ll caught this but he mentioned the line “cold lyrics matching the temperatures of Antartica” and then when he was rapping about his favorite cars (which came after the continents word), he backtracked to that like, took the phrase “cold lyrics” & combined it with his hot bars & created a hybrid right on the spot. “Cold lyrics, hot bars; hold up, that’s a hybrid!”
He mentioned “cold lyrics” earlier in his freestyle & then brought it back later to add it to his punchline later in the freestyle. That’s crazy!

Agreed on the non beat switch. It was bland. Also why did they have 3 topics that were kind of the same. Dinosaurs, crustaceans, ocean animals. Should have given him concepts not nouns. This was low hanging fruit for HM
Flow State Labs Exactly. That’s what I’m saying. We say this as Harry fans who have seen his truly elite god tier level. It’s a shame Sway didn’t give him that opportunity to showcase that to a new audience. Felt like a layup versus a half court shot that could’ve just absolutely floored people
@@KnoxHill I hear what you are saying as well. We are just used to seeing the God tier level stuff. Then again he just killed 20ish words, off top, no filler, FOR 8 MINUTES.. That alone is enough to call this a legendary freestyle. He called out the greats, crushed bars, showed a faster cadence and didn't slip up.
This is the foundation of the exposure for sways audience. When we look back at his career in 10 years, this will be a milestone performance on his road for sure.

Harry's humbleness and positivity, on top of his skill and passion mixed with his sheer intelligence and just insane thinking speed being able to create entire schemes around a word and not just say the word... He is one of the only people that has ever made me laugh and shed tears simultaneously through music. The guy deserves all the recognition, and I have all the faith in the world that he's going to get it. He's an inspiring. He's one of those guys that you just know that everyone he interacts with will always end up walking away more positive than they were before they encountered him, even if he's not freestyling, he just has such a positive outlook and humbleness to him that it leaves people uplifted.
I agree, they should have given him more beats and more words, but now we should get Harry on "five fingers of death"

However, I'm actually glad it worked out this way and wouldn't be surprised if Harry purposely held back on his quicker cadence. I agree with your complaint's but I definitely think Harry will be back on the wake up show soon. He brought in a lot of views. His video has the most views on Sway's channel for the year already in just a couple of days compared to the others that have been up for months. And now that they've seen how easy this was for him, hopefully they will challenge him more next time.

At the end of the freestyle and if you listen carefully, there's a first person in the background saying: "That was flawless and in ONE TAKE TOO, ONE TAKE", then a second person says (I think it's Sway): "Com'on Maan. Yo, yoo, yooo, yoooo. Hey Maan, yo, thank you Brother. THank you Maaan, that feels great. Com'on Maan, you did that shit seamless" and then the first person says again: "AND IN ONE TIME, ONE TIME".
That goes to show you not only that the rappers come on this platform to spit pre-written shit, but ALSO that they need several takes to complete the task.

Respect to H-Mack for shouting out Aceyalone and Mikah 9 of the Freestyle Fellowship. Their work they did, with Abstract Rude, on the two Haiku d'etat projects in 99 and 04? Those albums were AMAZING. Still two of my favorite albums. That opening track on the self-titled debut album (the track is also called Haiku d'etat), is amazing in how different it sounds and hits with the lyricism. Mad love to Harry for shouting out the others. We all know MC Juice, Supernatural, Los, and Eyedea.
Another one I'd put up there with the greats is Mistah FAB. While not on Harry's level, I would say he is WAY closer to Harry's level than I see people giving him respect for. Don't get me wrong. Harry is still head and shoulders above. But FAB spits fire all off top and has been on Sway many times and done at least 5 or 6 frees that I can think of off the top of my head, including I think at least 3 if not 4 times doing the 5 Fingers. All those vids are easy to find on here by searching Mistah Fab freestyle Sway. FAB and Sway known each other for a long time, as FAB is from Oakland, CA like Sway.
Word. I gotta check out Mistah FAB. Juice and Nat are 2 and 3 for me behind Harry but I trust your word and will peep fab.
