Omg, be still my heart! I love these...he is my guitar god. ❤️. I saw him in 1983 and 3 times in 1988. I was blown away all 4 times.

I saw him live in 1983--awesome beyond belief. I was so sad when he passed--a great talent.

I wish you got sober Steve. So you could be happy and alive today. You were such a gifted songwriter and guitarist. I hope you are in heaven, praying for us guitarists down here on earth.

NO photographer was given the access to this genius more than Ross Halfin. Steve was VERY shy. That he gifted RH this access speaks to the friendship and trust they shared. Through Ross's pictures all whom idolize this man who's gift and legacy remains incalculable can enjoy. With deep deep sadness. But with stunning amazement.

Ross Halfin is a hypocrite who had the nerve to talk bad and criticize Steve well after his passing. All the while he made money from his stills.

There was nothing flashy about Steve...but, damn...he composed some of the greatest riffs ever! I still miss him.

Doom Crew 72 I don't think he was ever trying to be flashy, but he had such an intensity about him that is unmatched in my opinion!

Fuck u Steve was very flashy

    • @doomcrew7227

I wasn't talking about stage presence...just technique. I loved Steve's riffs. Don't be such a dick, man. Geez

U don't be a dick saying he is not flashy

Doom Crew 72 You completely misunderstand everything about technique if you are referring to Steve's technique as "nothing flashy". He had more technique than most other guys of his genre. He was a trained classical technician. One piece of advice... if you watched the Hysteria "making of" Classic albums footage, don't be fooled by Joe's comments. Because they are just about as incorrect as you can get.
Clark was one of the finest modern rock talents ever. It was Clark that Robert Plant wanted to work with back in 1988.

ive always wondered if steve had lived how adrenalize and slang would've sounded and what he would've thought of the whole alternative rock and grunge scene.

Same here. Steve was very melodic and his riffs and solos were always catchy. Even when hes just doing random freestyle, it's so much enjoyable to listen to versus Phil. I believe if Steve was still alive, his approach to the Leps future albums wouldve made such a huge diffrence. Steve was just unique in all ways that the Leps needed.
