Thank you Gary💖 Agreed the FS brush looks great, the Pure Brown Badger is really dense, although as a Pure Badger it was a little scritchy, no biggy for my lather painting style. Take care brother👌🤠👌
@@shavingfox7914 Thankyou Paul 😎 the FS Brown Pure Badger brush was a bit firmer than I normally use but it did a great job. Have a great day brother 👌🤠👌
Hello Lawrie🙋🏻♂️, a very interesting video. I haven't used the soaps from Saponificio Varesino yet. The care and gliding properties are said to be very good. The soaps aren't exactly cheap either😧.The Blue Stratos aftershave is very good👍.Have a nice day. Many greetings from Maik from Germany🙋🏻♂️.
@@MK-wl6zz Thank you Maik 😎 The SV soaps do perform well and have some nice classic style scents, yes they do cost a bit more but the pucks are big (150gm) and the soap is efficient. A man needs some luxuries in his Den. Have a great day brother 👌🤠👌
Great shave, Mate! When you showed the knot I couldn't help but to think that pure badger is way to stiff and scratchy to what you normally prefer. However I find that a stiffer knot works best when bowl lathering and piece of soap from a really hard soap. Have a great weekend! 🤜💥🤛
@@SIGSOLO thank you SIG😎. Yes the Brown Pure Badger is a bit firmer than I normally would use but I do like to try different types of knots for a new experience and it wasn't too bad, I expect the knot will get better with a few more shaves. Take care brother and WAD👌🤠👌
Thank you for proving to me that the Cloud blades have no problem and rather I press too much with my safety razor and cut myself many times so I was afraid to continue using them the blades are fine it was just my mistake😅. Good shave👌🏻
@@kidnamedfinger772 Cloud blades are not my favourite blades but they do get the job done, even if a little tuggy. Too much pressure with any DE and blade will be problematic, stick with it it can take a while to get the feel for DE razor. Take care buddy 👌🤠👌
Love the handle on that badger brush! Do you think taking the lather from the brush are restarting helps with the lather building? Cheers my friend great video!
The FS brush is quite nice indeed. I've been doing the lather squeeze during the build for a few months now and for me it has enriched the lather a bit more and makes sure all the water is combined into the lather, particularly with animal hair knots, this is a technique I thought of trying because my bowl holds my lather not the brush, unlike face lathering. Take care Sean👌😎👌
@@erwesthernandez7032 Great shave choices there, I love Proraso Red scent and cannot go wrong with the Merkur Classic head in the 20c. Enjoy your shave buddy👌🤠👌

Nicely done Lawrie, have fun at the beach with the misses!💈
Thank you Gary👌 Relatively fine weather is forecast (for winter) so should be fun.👌🤠👌
